You seem to be moving nicely along here..but let's see what we can do about the 'bloats' Routine tweek suggestion (partly based on your current sensations, partly based on hunches): Daily spread 3x's a day the fenugreek at 1500mg-1800mg, 2 cups fennel tea (morn, evening not b4 bed), and tarragon anytime(which will help with your health and make BE easier). You can find tarragon at your local grocery in spice section or you can find at www.mountainroseherbs.com where you can get bulk and make your own. Using the tea of tarragon will not be as effective as the capsule. You only need 250mg daily (1/3 of a teaspoon). Drop the SP- it's your bloat culprit. Happy shoppin' Wen'

Drop the SP? Won't that affect my BE progress? I would only then be taking FG, fennel tea and supplements. I thought the combo of the SP and FG were the ones helping me along.
I'll add the extra tea. Tarragon capsules would be ok, correct? Is this ok to add in the middle of my cycle?
This cycle has been pretty quiet - seems the only time I get aches is right after I take a dose or have tea. I'm wondering if I'm stalling. I'm planning on ramping down at the end of this cycle and taking a break with a liver cleanse since I'll be on vacation.

Heh, heh I offered suggestions. I REALLY don't don't think SP is helping you. Everyone doesn't need it for BE. Tarragon, you will only take one pill a day of whatever u find. It's not a BE herb, so you can start it at anytime. The aches say you def need fennel. If you haven't been doing BE for 9 months straight, a liver cleanse isn't a must. Add the tea, reduce the SP (or drop it) at end of cycle all together, add taragon. See what happens. Also, if you have luteal swelling the next time, you'll know you've moved forward. Aches are a good indicator on right path...now move down it (tweak). Aches all the time and no physical progress is moot, yes?. Wen'

Chamomile, peppermint, fennel, and alfalfa (listed in order of my preference) all reduce bloating. You could also try one, or a combination of those in tea form or in capsules, except for peppermint. You would probably need the oil for that one. Take it exactly as directed on the label and no more if you use it. If you use alfalfa, might be better in capsules.
Are you getting bloat with every dosage or just certain ones?

Thanks, Wen and Wahaika! There isn't a particular dosage when I get the bloats - more it just develops throughout the day. I'm adding more fennel tea and will try the tarragon. I'll also experiment with cutting down on the SP on my next go-around. Re: peppermint oil. I use peppermint essential oil in my boobie batter for a nicer smell. You say that it reduces bloating. Should I not be using this this?? Will it make my boobs reduce?? Cherub

Peppermint reduces the gastric type bloating, not the pudgies. Is that what you meant? Stomach discomfort due to gastric type bloating?
Peppermint oil is A-OK for external use. Works well as a carrier and covers the fenugreek smell too. It can also be taking internally for stomach ailments like bloating.

Peppermint reduces the gastric type bloating, not the pudgies. Is that what you meant? Stomach discomfort due to gastric type bloating? Now I'm confused...I have tummy pudge....never had it until I started BE. But of course when I eat and drink, my tummy expands a bit, so by the end of the day, I'm pretty bloated. However, when I wake up the bloating has reduced but I'm still left with the pudge. The only discomfort I have is that I feel fat and I can't get into my jeans very easily LOL! Is this gastric type bloating as opposed to water tummy? Have I been approaching this all wrong? Cherub

I was not addressing the water tummy - I thought that by bloat you meant the gastric type discomfort.
You have not been addressing it wrong. The water tummy is a very common side effect.

Hi everyone! I'm back from my three week vacation where my routine pretty much fell apart. I wasn't able to do massages and had a hard time remembering to take my internals, but on the positive side I didn't have the bloats as much. I started my period a week ago and have been on a one week break but I've been taking some milk thistle for a mild cleanse. I'm not even going to bother doing my monthly measuring since I'm positive I've had no growth this month.
I was planning to continue my break for one month but have decided to continue my routine after catching up on all the posts. I trust that I can just start back up, correct? Or should I just wait and ride this break out?
I was planning to cut down on the SP, maintain current dose of FG, take borage oil instead of EPO, and increase to two cups of fennel tea.
I've also been reading a lot about Vitex. Do you think this would be beneficial for me?

Interesting things to report for this cycle. I'm currently in luteal phase. I took a one week break with milk thistle during my period, cut my SP to 2 caps per day, increased FG to 1830 mg, drink two cups fennel tea, and replaced EPO with borage oil. I've also modified my massage batter. I was planning on taking tarragon caps as well but I couldn't find any. Well - my aches returned with a vengeance during follicular phase! Guess the break did me some good. Good general swelling overall. What I've found interesting is that I would get aches after my massage, even during luteal, something which never happened before. Also, I drink a cup of green tea and I'm getting aches right after that too! My bloats have also become a bit manageable, and I don't feel so heavy anymore LOL! I'll be measuring in a few weeks so Í'll keep you posted. Cherub

ARGGHHHH!!! So I got my period and measured. Still no changes on the tape - the last time I had any measured growth was December! I just don't get it - I have good aches and growing pains, good swelling, and my breasts are perky and full all the time. Is it possible that I just had empty breasts and they are just filling up inside now?

Yep, that's very possible. If they feel heavier/more dense then you are on the right track.

Also try to measure vertically. It really does seem you're on the right track.

Yup - they are heavier and dense - definitely more stuff inside though not huge amounts since they're small to begin with. I've had enough of perky - I want size NOW- LOL! I'll do the vertical measurements too.
