Hello to all the wonderful ladies here! I am a newbie n am bout to embark on my boobie journey. I have researched for bout 2.5 months n have narrowed down the things that I think would work best for me but I would like input from u guys. I will start with some basic info. I have elevated testosterone levels, and androgen levels in general. I have hirsutism and suspect I am pcos (but need to double check my doc said I have mild case based on my male hormone levels, but my periods r normal n i have barely any pms symptoms so i dont think im estrogen dominant, i think its just the androgen levels throwing my system off) newho i also come from a family who has naturally big boobs...even my younger sister is a 34d-34dd cup, so I think my boobs are at a b cup because of my androgen levels. I started yasmin bcp two months ago, will be goin on my third month n have noticed a slight increase in my breast size, which is encouraging. I will list my stats below and then my choice of herbs and u can skip over whateva detail u feel u need to save time.
Stats: overbust: 82cm Bust:85cm Underbust:75cm
Waist:62.5 hips:90.5
Left boob (slightly smaller than right boob): Lateral left-10cm later right-7cm underboob (upto nipple)-6cm From left clavicle to left nipple- 20cm
Right boob: Lateral left-11cm Lateral right-7-8cm Under boob-7.2cm From right clavicle to right nipple-18cm
(not sure how accurate my measuring is tho...i am hopin ill get betta as i measure myself more)
Bra size:32b No drink/smoke No children Age:24 Height: 5'2" Weight: 104.5 Elevated testosterone/and androgen Hirsutism On BCP:yasmin Slight hypoglycemic Slight elevated cholestrol levels for my weight n age since last physical. Exercise: not really active i will start exercising more, is bellydancin n hula-hoopin a good way to tackle belly weight but not harm B.E.?
My concerns: Since i have elevated testosterone i have to be careful with wha i use because i have male pattern hairloss n cant take anythin that would cause more hairloss. I also dont want to gain extra weight, as extra weight always goes to my face first n i dont wanna look bloated all the time. I also take a lot of vitamins n such for my hairloss n I am not sure if i need to stop takin them as they interfere with uptake of be herbs or if its ok to take...i wont bore u with exactly what vitamins until i find out if they would have an effect on my be or not. So after my research I have arrived at the conclusion that 1.)i need androgen blockers 2.) i need estrogen aromatase to convert excess androgens into estrogen and 3.) i need estrogens 4.) i need a diet rich in proteins.
So here are the herbs I am considering thanks to input I got from wen':
Saw palmetto(this is from greenbush site) [Agree, but Greenbush is pricey. Good quality for your system for___ or ____
Regular flax seed oil will do better. You only need moderate GLA amounts] (wen' recommendations thanx wen')
Fennel
Cayenne pepper (to make herbs more potent in my system)[This does not apply effect..it's a catalyst, but it's not necessary when you're on the right stuffs. Save some $]
Added recommendations: Vitamin K down the line to help keep your blood vessel walls strong. It seems you may have this issue once BE starts going good. We'll head this off.
Ok so I ordered a few of the things before I got any input...i have alfalfa (but i wont use it maybe ill consider it much later in the game so ill save it for later) n i have kelp n i wont use that either n i have cayenne pepper i think ill use that since i already paid for that n wanna see if it does make things move faster...so I also was thnkin that maybe i should add stinging nettle root, and add some more estrogenic herbs...what do u think? n i was thinkn on wha dosage i should take...thanx again in advance...i will keep u all updated on the progress.
Also am taking this other stuff for my hair/nail since im losin hair:
biotin 5000mcg for hair n nails, calcium pills, b complex, co q 10, and hairtupia (thanks again wen' for ur kind n extremely helpful guidance!)

BE Routine recommendation: Start at beginning of next your cycle. Take all BE doses at nite b4 bed. For a 6 month regimen, expect 2.1 cups to come in over 8 months. Cycle 1- 3 SP, 1 Flax, 1/3 cup Fen Cycle 2- 4 SP, 1 Flax, 1/4 cup Fen Cycle 3- 5 SP, 2 Flax, 1/2cup Fen, 2 pinky tips Vit K Cycle 4- 4 SP, 1 Flax, 1/3cup Fen, 3 pinky tips Vit K Cycle 5- 4 SP, 2 Flax, 1/2cup Fen, 2 pinky tips Vit K Cycle 6- 1 pink tip Vit K ..and you're done w/ BE.
K, for hair 10-week regimen Take all hair dose in morn on empty stomach Weeks 1-4: 2 caps Bio, 1 cal, 500mg Vit B, 1cap WHull Weeks 5-7: 2 caps Bio, 1 cal, 1g Vit B, 2cap WHull Weeks 8-9: 2 caps Bio, 1 cal, 1.5g Vit B, 2cap WHull Weeks 10: 4 caps Bio, 1 cal, 1.5g Vit B, 3cap WHull This will allow your hair to start growing about 0.75in and filling in nicely. ok wen' ur great thanx for the help with be n the hair growth how helpful n kind of u...before i order i have a few q's...
Ok so why is flax better than borage oil? Also the flax u recommended has lignan's...i thought lignans counteract be efforts? so i am a little confused...
As for the vitamin k...i have had some serious blood clots before (last time i was on bcp...for two months bout a year ago I had to stop because i had that) so wil vitamin k make that worst? just researched vitamin k n it is suppose to counteract blood thinners so i just wanted to see what ur input was in regards to that?
As for the walnut hull...for the iodine...is there anythin extremely specail about the walnut hull in relation to my case or my hairgrowth?
And if i get my vitamins from vitamin shoppe (close to my house n cheap) i was wonderin if u know wha brands would work from there...ok thats all i can think of for now...waitin anxiously for the answers thanx again!

Tiff'- For you, the flax is for the gla content vs. the lingans. Lingans amounts don't matter for your system. Don't forget BE is about health...so the info on lingans that has been posted..just isn't absolute. Vitamin K- awesome for strengthening vein walls (Clots come from blood seeping thru walls). What sites did you use for research?? Commonly recommended for helping to heal bruised skin and spider veins (which are similar probs..weakened vein walls). Walnut hull- the more natural the source..the better. This one rated awesome for you. Easier and cleaner to do than taking iodine swab and putting on ur tummy and letting it sit. But, you're welcome to do it that way Vitamin Shoppe- carries many of the brands on VitaCost. See if you can find the same ones..or have them get it in Wen'

thanks wen' that makes sense...i do have rosacea n bruises randomly so ill follow the vit k instructions...i mite bruise less that would b great...n ill follow everythin else n get the ball rollin...im just gonna order from vitacost...seems easier route ...will keep u updated on progress! k excited n cant wait! hugs!

Ok update:
I havent gained much in boobies....i feel like whateva progress i have had has been a result of my bcp...i have also gained weight...i started at 103-104 lbs...i am now at 108(lightest) and 112 lbs. My body looks more feminine tho...my backside is growin so i dont mind that...my only complaint is that my cheeks have fattened up so much i feel like a chipmunk...my hubby keeps callin me baby face while pokin my newly fatter cheeks....so im tryin to lose weight....i cut out tea completely when i started but i started the tea drinkin again (today was first day) so i started with 3 cups of caffienated tea again cuz i think that helps my metabolism get faster...also an update on my routine:
i am taking:
saw palmetto 575 (1pills 3times a day) fenugreek 575 (5X a day) (Havent had any problems with my sugar so far...since i already had it i just took it instead of fennel forgive me wen')
I know wen' you recommended i take flax but before I even started this journey i was already takin barleans flaxseed n primrose "the essential woman" mix and the whole time while i was on it i had suchhhh bad cystic acne so i stopped and my acne is almost completely cleared (knock on wood) so i dont want to take flax again.
And i am taking borage oil 1gram a night.
Havent done the vitamin k...
I am following the hair routine as u recommended...i started that bout 2weeks ago...so ill keep u updated.
I am considering taking a break as the winter equinox is approachin...should i?
In a nutshell, I havent had immense progress but i have had slight progress my breasts are fuller and less deflated lookin. But that could b because i have gained weight in general...i dont know....

You're doing your "own" routine so you won't make as much progress as fast as some of the others directly following my recommendations. And recommendations where I provide a routine are specific readings for your system, your health. WRT to your cystic acne...it was the PRIMROSE that caused the problems, not the flax. Also, the birth control- it's def causing water retention in your cheeks. It's only 4.3/10 for your system, so yeah 90% of your weight gain is attributed to the BC. The fenugreek.....it's not so much a sugar problem, it's a no-BE progress problem. All the tea drinking....it'll help reduce your bloats b/c your body will be tricked into letting go of the liquid (because it's getting more all the time). But as soon as you stop, you'll go back to retaining water. Best solution- change your BC. Sheesh...you're doing a lot, but more spinning wheels than not. Wen'

hello my dear wen' ur so sweet and thoughtful i understand what ur sayin bout me not followin ur rec. routine- forgive me? i just spent 5-7months researching everything before jumpin in and so my gut was tellin me to just go with the findings of that research. I did take ur recommendations on the hair as well as not using some of the extra stuff so i promise ur efforts were not wasted. I appreciate all the helpful information u have given me, and am greatful for any help And i thought i should stay away from flax because lignans r aromatase inhibitors? n primrose cuz ur rite i think that was the main culprit for pimples...as for my bcp im on yasmin n im takin it for pcos. So far this has been a betta bcp then the other ones ive tried...and since the tea drinkin ive lost some of the water weight like u metioned i would I appreciate ur help alot! Thanks again!

I measured myself 2 times so far the first one is from 9/6/08 and the second one is from today and here's the updated and the originally measurements: (i took measurements at perpendicular angle to floor...without a bra all three times)
overbust: 1.)82cm- 2.) 82cm 3.) 83cm
Bust:1.)85cm 2.)(standing 82cm) perpendicular 85 3.)(standing 83cm perp. 87cm.
Underbust: 1.)75cm 2.) 73cm 3.) 73cm(standing) and 74-75cm perpendicular to floor.
Waist:62.5- same in all three measurements(knock on wood).
Low waist measurement at 1 inch below bellybutton (only measured 09/06/08 and today) i noticed this area getting thicker then it was before so thats why i measured it and monitoring the progress: 2.) 71cm 3.) 72cm

In short: 08/12-10/21: 3cm= 1.18inches and i've gained 4lbs...working on losing this weight though. Also just used this website to calculate my initial bra size and my current bra size... www.85b.org/bra_calc.php:Initial: 34A Current: 34B I am still wearing my 32B bras though...i think my real size is prolly more like 32B because the band size stretches so i always get it a little tighter...like one size down.

Hee..glad to see how some things r weighing out. OMG!!! Are you a tailor?? You have listed some SERIOUS measurements.. Anyways, it's good to know for later. About flax- everyone doesn't have same needs for BE progress. In your case, you are low in some essential fatty acids, so it seems you need a little help that flax can give. It'll also help your PCOS probs (which is why you didn't have too much boobies b4). Also- best BC= Diane-35 (same family as Yasmin, so still will help PCOS, just less water retention probs or later side effect probs. Like you'd need to add gingko to your regimen longer you're on Yasmin). This BC would drop 3lbs without your doing anything diff (just drops the water retnetion prob.) Diane is a 9.3/10 for your sytem. Hookay... keep truckin'....lol. I dunno..you're just ticklin' me. lol. I'm glad to see you thinkin' and getting to know your body! Wen'

ok so i think i might add flax and gelatin to my BE program thanx to ur recs wen' also i will discuss diane 35 with my doc...i wonder why she didnt even mention that bcp...i for some reason was under the impression that diane 35 is only in europe...whats the difference between yasmin n diane? I know my measurements would drive anyone mad...lol but i had to b thorough to make sure for my own purposes that im gaining weight where i want to n not where i dont want to. Ok thanks again when! How much flax should i take? I ordered flax herbs from an herb store so its in bulk....so wha do u recommend? knowin wha im takin so far wha would u suggest? ok thanx!

Ya know..Diane-35 IS in Europe I know for sure, but the main difference in the amount of spirolactance in it. Still- ask your dr.
Let me know what brand you intend to buy in bulk, and I'll recommend about of tablespoons or teaspons to use. That herb store has 2 good brands for you to use.
