For those of us tapping (Katrina, Pammy, Barb & (sometimes) me) :
Wanna get a little support thread going here?
Now that the horror of the holidays is over (as well as several other big events I had to deal with), I'm ready to get cracking again...
Anybody with me?
Fawn

I would love to be a part of this support thread, that is as soon as my T-Tapp DVD's arrive. Ordered them the week before Christmas and was told they would be shipped 12-26-03. Hmm.... still nothing. But as soon as I get Tapping I willl jump in. Great idea Fawn!

Love to Fawn the only tapes I have right now are Total workout beginner/rehab level and the new Step away the inches walking workout. Gave the other tapes to my Mom but I did reorder them, but they are not due in until the end of Jan, I really miss the HTF tape.
Right now I'm doing the beginning of rehab (the basic part and hoe downs) and the walking workout.
What program are you going to do?

Hiya Nanette -
I'm glad to hear that you're gonna start Tapping - I think it will be particularly good for you! (Did you get the brushing set? If not, I will loan you my video. I think it will also be very good for you! Good for your immune system!)
Let us know when you get them.
Barb - Right now, I'm "warming up". Because of the fibro (and now a 3-month long case of tendonitis in my right shoulder)** I take the Tapping slow. If I haven't been able to Tapp in a while, I go VERY slow, and I haven't much since November. Otherwise, I invariably hurt my back or some other necessary body part, which puts a big kabosh on my motivation.
So right now, I'm doing a BW+ bootcamp. I own the beginner/rehab set and Mini Max 4, but I know how the BW+ goes, so I'm doing that for 4-5 days until I can warm up. The same as you - I'm doing the beginning and the hoedowns, though I also do a short LifeLift workout.
After I warm up, I'll start adding the sets one by one. It's the only way I can do it with the fibro.
If Pammy will be so kind as to share her motivation page, you guys should see it. Talk about great progress. She looks great (but hasn't updated since October).
Anyway, what I'm suggesting is a little support thread - everybody do their own thing. Maybe a weekly posting of inch/weight loss, and maybe a daily posting of workouts finished, something like that. Whatever anybody needs to keep at it.
Fawn
** BTW - if it seems like I know alot about alternative medical treatment, well - it's just out of self defense. One of the reasons I know how to treat a myriad of ailments is because I always seem to have to be treating them! Sheesh!

Pammy, I just click the link to your photo page and your nekkid boobs are there big as Dallas!!! You're worried about showing your cellulite? You are SUCH a hoot! ANYWAY - glad you're with us! What are your thoughts? Daily accomplishment thread and a weekly progress update? Am on day 4 of a BW+ bc (I also do Lifelift, so it's a bit of an extra workout). Am also TRYING to get in PBS and brushing first thing. I'm not good at doing much of anything before 8AM, so it's a struggle. So, what is everyone else's schedule? Fawn

Sorry this isn't related to the topic, but HOLY COW Pammy! You have great boobs! Did you really go from a 34C to a 30F???
Good luck T-Tapping - I tried that for a little while, along with LifeLift and BodyFlex. Now I don't do anything, haha!
You might also be interested in checking out Callanetics - read the reviews on Amazon. Very fast results. (Disclaimer: I'm a certified instructor, but only because it IS one of the best techniques out there.)

Lucille -
I hated bodyflex, but love Lifelift - lost about 14" in 8 weeks last summer with it.
I've found T-tapp is like a total "body lift" - everything moves up fast and dramatically. Though I admit, I HATE doing it. It hurts, it's boring, I HATE IT, HATE IT, HATE IT!!!!
However, whenever I do it, my body looks about 6 years younger after only a week of steady workout. Sort of a superfast antigravity workout.
LifeLift however, gave me the best inch loss.
So I do both.

Yes Pammy you are lookin super! wow! way to go!
I have a question about the T -Tapping stuff. I just ordered last night the diva dierrer and the skin brushing tapes. I didn't order anything else because it seems like most of that stuff is for people who want to lose weight. I don't need to lose weight just need to get some more muscle on my body and tone it up and get rid of that belly from having kiddos and lift my rear.
Should I be concerned about doing any of the other tapes? Don't need that inch loss. Thanks!

Talk about 'behind' the times! I am so in Fawn. Where are we posting our workouts and is it every day or every week? I keep a journal anyway of everything I do with workouts, dry brushing, and pill popping quantities. I just got on the BO like three days ago, so I have a lot to write. I like the t-tapp because it is so hard. I still can't get over how it gets harder and not easier! I am sore literally every day I work out. And then I work out when I am still sore! Anyway, someone get back to me and I will become a member of this new club. Katrina

Katrina,
We're posting accountability as of every Sunday (though often that turns into Monday morning).
First one starts a new thread and describes what they accomplished that week and any inch/pound loss they achieved. Just title it with Sunday's date.
C'mon and join us!

Add me in there! That's a great idea Fawn! I need all the support I can get! .......I slacked off a bit and took a break ....lazy me. Now I'm back in the ballgame again. I just got home frome the gym and worked on my legs and buttocks. I also did the diva dierrer while I was there.....talk about burn! It felt so good though! I feel great now! Just wish I had a workout partner! It'd much more enjoyable and easier at times especially when I feel like being in the lazy mode. I need more self discipline. Let's do it!....and give each other all the support we can give! Also, you can find some of the t-tapp tapes on ebay. Soooo........Come on girls let's get our booties movin again you can do it I know you can!!!
