I think its a lot like the in the news where they say one day that soy foods are good for you & prevent cancer, then the next day they say soy foods are bad & might cause cancer. Also, some people say that moderate sun exposure either in a tanning bed or the real sun is good since sunlight is a source of Vitamin D & others says to stay out of the sun b/c of skin cancer.
The best thing to do is listen to your body, if something doesn't feel right, stop what you're doing. I went for my yearly pap test recently just to get a clean bill of health before beginning BE. I really believe that a short, focused BE program that includes breaks is far safer than the risk of implants. Good luck to you!

Hello, Here are a few links to some interesting reading about cancer. There are more links than this, but these are good to start. Technion-Israel Institute of Technology Studies Show Pomegranate Seed Oil Causes Breast Cancer Cells To Self-Destruct Israeli researchers have found that pomegranates could have important implications for breast cancer treatment and the safety of estrogen replacement therapy. Technion-Israel Institute of Technology researchers presented two studies at an international conference in Madrid (in June) showing that pomegranate seed oil triggers apoptosis -- a self-destruct mechanism -- in breast cancer cells. Furthermore, pomegranate juice can be toxic to most estrogen-dependent breast cancer cells, while leaving normal breast cells largely unaffected. Estrogen is a hormone prescribed to protect postmenopausal women against heart disease and osteoporosis. For more information, go to www.rimonest.com. "Pomegranates seem to replace the estrogen often prescribed to protect postmenopausal women against heart disease and osteoporosis, while selectively destroying estrogen-dependent cancer cells," explains Dr. Ephraim Lansky, who headed the studies. In the first study, laboratory-grown breast cancer cells were treated for three days with pomegranate seed oil. The researchers observed apoptosis in 37 to 56 percent of the cancer cells, depending on the dose of oil applied. In the second study, both normal and cancerous breast cells were exposed to pomegranate wine and pomegranate peel extracts, which contain polyphenols (powerful antioxidants). The vast majority of the normal cells remained unaffected by the two pomegranate derivatives. But more than 75 percent of the estrogen-dependent cancer cells, and approximately half of the non-estrogen dependent cancer cells were destroyed by exposure to these same pomegranate products. Dr. Martin Goldman, a New York-based board certified internist and life medicine specialist, notes, "This is apparently a safe substance that could be helpful to many people, especially women at high-risk for developing breast cancer." Dr. Lajos Pusztai, an assistant professor who studies breast cancer at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston says Dr. Lansky's study "provides a potential new avenue to develop anti-cancer drugs from a natural compound." Technion researchers have tested other health benefits of pomegranates, showing their antioxidant potency and ability to lower oxidation of LDL cholesterol, leading to the elimination of plaques in arteries. www.bioisrael.com/upload/research/Technion%20August%202001.doc----------------------- Pomegranate Seed Oil Causes Breast Cancer Cells to Self-Destructwww.ats.org/news.php?id=32Pomegranate seed may cause breast cancer cells to self-destructwww.nutraingredients-usa.com/news/printNewsBis.asp?id=20855www.raysahelian.com/pomegranate.htmlDiagnosed With Cancer? I don't know what it is like in Greece but I definitly do think that what we eat, lack of nutrition in our foods, products that we use, birth control pills, etc contribute alot to cancer. I briefly read some of Wahaika's links and they look like interesting reads. There was a TV series that came on in the UK, you are what you eat - check out her website. www.drgillianmckeith.com/. She basically has the view that what we eat is linked to a variety of health disorders. interesting!!!!

I've been reading for 4hours and I'm feeling soooo dizzy! The conclusion:When we consume small quantities of phytoestrogen through our food it's good for fealth and can prevent cancer BUT if we take the concentrated forms of them in supplements it can increase the risk of breast cancer.I started worrying again! In Greece we are lucky coz we eat according to the famous Medittarenean diet(did'nt spell that right and I know it)and it's good for health.I don't drink, don't smoke and I used to go to the gym,I hope all that helps me go through this without getting me in big trouble.Maybe I'll just do it for 6months and then stop,I dont know,I'm too afraid I guess!

I know people that want to blame BE for possibly causing breast cancer, but what about all the other toxins we're exposed to on a daily basis? Our food, our water, our air is all dirty. DDT & pesticides in our food. I read that environmental damage on Earth is so severe that the astronauts on the Discovery could see evidence of it as they orbited the Earth. I don't see how a BE program with breaks could cause damage, especially in relation to one's lifespan.

I know that everything we eat, drink or even breath is causing cancer but we're doing it worse for ourselves my doing BE.I'm just afraid, that's all.

There is a lot more known/accepted about cancer now than there has been in the recent past - like a few years. Cancer is fungal in nature. It thrives in an anaerobic environment which means it derives its energy from metabolizing sugar rather than oxygen. Further, in higher oxygen environments it does not tend to thrive. If your blood pH is on the high side (alkaline), your cells are in an aerobic environment. If your blood pH is on the low side (acidic) your cells are in an anerobic environment. This does mean you are going to get cancer, it just means you are more suseptible to it the lower your pH balance is. I don't know how anyone could make a connection between phytoestrogens and cancer, but if I were diagnosed with cancer or wanted to avoid cancer, I would: 1. Be on a low carb diet. 2. Be involved in resistance exercise such as weight training. 3. Do regular colon, kidney, and liver flushes as is shown on www.curezone.com . 4. Take fairly heavy dosages of suppliments that raise the pH of my body such as calcium, magnesium, omega-3 fish oils, NADH, Oxygenated water or suppliment such as oxy-moxy, Hydrogen Boost, ASAP Colloidal Silver, A, C, E, Zinc, and Selinium while paying attention to how much is too much and staying below those thresholds. 5. I would also take pancreatin and CoQ10. 6. I would get the advice of a board certified naturopathic doctor. I don't see how engaging in BE could be the cause of cancer. The two look unrelated to me. Here is a Google search on "phytoestrogen cancer."Wahaika

You are right about all that,I'm leading a healthy type of life and hope it helps.I did the google search and I read for many hours but the conclusion was again the same, most of the sites said that if you expose yourself to high levels of hormones(either natural or phytoestrogen)it's more likely for you to get breast cancer than if you don't.Breast cancer is hormone related so the more you higher the dosage the more succeptible you are to it.I read articles in more than 80 sites-talking 'bout serious headache afterwards-and the verdict was the same:Low intake of phytoestrogens(found in fruits and veggies)is goog, high causes BIG problems. We'll just have to accept that,it's a big risk we're taking!

For exactly the reasons listed by Zanyzara and Shakira, are the best reasons in the world for learning how to read your biofields so you can proactively re-duce the 'concern'. Dowsing is something which you have to learn, but MAN is it worth the effort for the peace of mind.

I've read these articles before, these and many others that are inconclusive, but did you notice that they're talking for tiny daily intake, such as 50-80mg?And I've read maaaaaaaany more that say that high dosages (such the ones we take)are linked to cancer.I'll keep taking them for 6months coz I've already bought the 6month supply and then I'll stop, that's it.
