Here's a synopis of little tips & tricks that have been posted, and a nice reminder, even "experienced" BE'ers may need to have a refresher.
1. Take herbs on an empty tummy! Wait 2-3 hours after eating to take supplements. Or you can eat 20 mins after taking supplements.
2. Tempetures are important whether on herbal or glandular BE program. For herbal, just keep an eye on them. For BO, it is quite important
3. Liver Cleanse-the bodies natural defense to excess estrogen, is to clog the liver. So an occassional liver cleanse is a GOOD idea. Start the liver cleanse on day 1 of cycle. (see Fawn's site for different liver cleanse recipes)
4. Massages are important to BE! It helps produce prolactin, which is important to fat storage. Be sure to massage often, the length is NOT important, it's the action. There are several methods posted on the board.
Also, using heat moderately is very beneficial. Don't heat too much or too long! Again, more information can be found, SEARCH!
5. High protein diets are GREAT for BE. Vegetarians have not done well with BE, even with protein shakes. So...MEAT! and of course you can supplement with protein shakes.
6. Stay away from Soy type foods, it is very hard on the thyroid, and lowers temps. Not good for BE.
7. Spread out taking your supplements. The idea is to have the body believing there is "excess" estrogen in your body at all times. So supplements should be taken 3-4x daily.
8. Also taking your supplements 1/2 hour before bedtime, allows your natural growing hormones to kick in. So try to plan your dosage just before bedtime. Let nature do the work.
