Has anyone experience a lot of hair loss on herbs? I just cleaned my bathroom and hair everywhere. So I brushed my hair with a clean brush and more hair and I mean lots of hair. I have quite thick hair so I guess I really didn't miss much of it, but at this rate I will soon not have thick hair. This is very discouraging. It must be the herbs because that is the only thing different in the last few months. I'm beginning to question if this whole thing is worth it. I have reasonably nice breasts just not big... 34 b small b. I have gained weight and cellulite now hair loss on top of that. Yikes what next. When I quit the herbs will it start coming back?

Amen to the hair loss! I have been quietly complaining about this one for a few weeks now! I too have thick hair, so I am with u that to lose some is actually not hurting my feelings, but it does get bad when everywhere u sit or walk, there's hair! Not to mention the hairs u find on other family members....u know it came from your head! Just wanted to let u know, u aren't alone in this one! I am experiencing this too!!! Kelly

Yes Kelly, but is it all worth it? Are you having any luck with the BE? Are you on herbs?

kathio, princess26,
I did not see your routines on the routines page. What is your Saw Palmetto intake?

Hey there...yea I am on herbs...and I have seen some good results so far. I had gained about 1/2 inch on both sides. And then lost a bit and gained it back...but I am only on the 2 month of this so I don't have alot of experience. I am still trying to figure this all out. I say as long as my hair is falling out in clumps, I am okay with it. But it does get annoying to see it all around your house. How long have u noticed hair falling out? Any other side effects? If hair loss is the only bad thing, and it's not in clumps...well then I guess it's worth a shot! I am planning on going maybe another month or 2 on herbs and then taking a break. After that, if I decide to keep trying this, I am gonna buy individuals...instead of the commercials....that way I will know exactly how much of everything I am taking, ya know? Kelly

I am taking sbs with added fenugreek, 300 mg 3X daily and saw palmetto 1,000 mg 2X daily and red clover 475 mg 3X daily EPO 500 mg 3X daily. I have been on herbs for about 5 months with the month of December off. I also have the tea each night and do the massages with heat twice daily. I have seen very little if any growth maybe just a bit of extra fullness. I am afraid to try BO. So if this doesn't work I guess I will pack it in and just get a push up bra. I am not willing to gain weight and loose my hair to get a C cup. I have always been petite all over small boned size 4-6 more sixes these days than 4s since the weight gain on BE. I don't want to discourage others. I only wish good luck to all. I will be evalutaing whether this is worth it in the next few weeks.

Kelly I have noticed some hair loss since January 1, but I was really blown away when I swept my bathroom floor and then brushed tonight. Then I really felt my hair and it feels thinner. The only other side effect is increased cellulite which I never used to have much of before. I even have it on my stomach and I don't even have much if any tummy. I mean I am pretty skinny. Sorry just venting grrrr.

I haven't posted a routine, cuz it's too hard to tell how much I am actually taking. I am currently taking HBA. I take 2 caps 3x daily...the only thing I have added to that has been RC(1caps 3xdaily=1200mg per day). I added the RC about 4 weeks ago maybe. I am going to buy the individuals after my supply runs out. I have about another month or so before that happens. I have seen growth so far on this regime, but am wondering what exactly is causing the hair to fall out. I know that it is normal to lose hair on a daily basis. And I have always "shedded" alot of hair...but this is more than what I am used to...but like I said, it's not falling out in clumps...just noticing more around the house...in the shower...on the hair brush...etc........ Any ideas on what is causing this or if I need to adjust something? Thanks, Kelly

Hi guys, I think increasing SP might help. I've always had quite a bit of hair shedding and take around 5000mg SP daily. It's really improved the shedding and made my hair wavier and shinier. Good luck!

Ahem...not to beat a dead horse, but EVERYONE should be checking your tempetures. A slugglish thyroid WILL cause hair loss. I lost some hair, and some of my eyebrows, because I had not checked my temps, didn't know my thyroid is was VERY sluggish for a long time. Just a reminder and possible solution.

This seems to happen to a couple people on the herbal programs.
For the life of me, I can't figure out why!
Saw Palmetto may help.
and Momi is right - CHECK YOUR TEMPERATURES!!!

I had a complete physical in late fall and all my levels seemed fine. What should we do if our temperature is low? I gave blood the other day and mine was 98 and I checked this morning and it was also 98.

I have checked mine a few times over the last week and a half or so...mine were normal too. And to increase the SP....how would one do that on commercials? Should I just wait til my supply runs out and start them if I do individuals? I have been noticing increased shedding, but my hair does not feel at all thinner. Wouldn't mind if it did though, my hair is very thick and unruly at times. I will continue to check my temps and see what happens. So far so good. Kelly

Just run down to Walmart and get some SP - it's cheap there.
Just take 1-2 every time you take your commercial.

There have been several reports of ladies losing hair, and yeah, I seem to remember that especially with herbals. It seemed to occur when they had been on herbs for too long and too high a dose. This is just weird, as you all haven't been doing this for a long time. Maybe chalking up what herbs u have as a loss, then trying BO may be an option, if adding SP berries doesn't work. I myself am/was interested in trying individ herbs for a couple of cycles to see if I could 'trick' my system..seems pretty smart these days Sure am a little leery, but a good two cycles shouldn't lose me ALL of my hair I'll keep you all posted, tho'. Good luck!
