I will try the SP and see what happens...I have about a month or so left of the herbs that I am taking...was thinking about individuals after that...but I guess we'll see how the SP works before deciding to try BO. So I should take it everytime I take the commercials? I have looked at Walmart for just about everything...and the one here doesn't seem to have anything related to BE...atleast I can't find it! Maybe I need to see the eye doctor! Kelly

Hair loss can also show EXCESS estrogen. Chicky had this problem. She does not take any phyto-estrogens, and is starting to sprout:D So...it is possible you are too high in estrogen, you may want to try cutting back on your dosages, see if it helps.

DO u think that I should cut back on the RC? I didn't notice that I was losing more hair than usual until after starting that. Currently I am taking 1200mg's a day... Cut back one dose or maybe 2? Or should I just stop taking it alltogether? What do u think? Kelly

You may want to try cutting back to 600 daily. See what happens, you do need the progesterone blocking. Hey...aren't you on HBA? If so, aren't you on Bust Boosters...if so you don't need to supplement Red Clover, the Bust Boosters have red clover in it already. ;D I grew just on that product btw.

Hi guys, I've been puzzling over the hair loss thing (now I think about it, I remember losing quite a bit of hair in the shower as long as 6 years ago at least). I think Momi is right - decreased thyroid activity could be the culprit. It may not manifest as low temps in everyone (I've always had lower temps, been susceptible to cold and had low blood pressure which I think all seem to signify lowish thyroid in some). I found a link that explains various categories of underactive thyroid and why conventional medical tests may give you a 'normal' rating. Of course, the link leads back to a sales pitch (!) but the article itself is interesting reading. www.garynull.com/Documents/AreYouTiredLowThyroidPt1.htm

I really don' think mine is anything to do with thyroid balance. I have never had hair loss before and I don't have any of the other symptoms. I have a friend with thyroid problems and when she is off her meds she is tired and depressed and bloated and has all kinds of problems.. I feel great, just hair loss. The only thing different in my life is the herbs. I don't think extra Saw Palmetto would work as I am already taking about 2600 mg a day. What would I up it to? I was actually wondering if I should be lowereig some of the herbs. Kathi

Hey Momi, I am on HBA, but not the bust boosters...just the regular ones. So the ones I am taking don't have the RC, that's why I added it. I will decrease and see what happens. I will let u know if I see a change. My temps are still good, but I have been feeling really sleepy throughout the day...so I will keep my eye on it. I stopped my added pill at night since u said to try it for a week and see if I get the sensations back. Well for one day I had minor itching...then nothing. I didn't want to overdo it, so I stopped at exactly one week, which was Monday I belive...and today, the itchies are back full force like in the beginning! Maybe the little tweak did some good after all! I am gonna start lowering tomorrow as I have already taken 2 out of the three doses today...but should I still think about adding some extra SP? Just wondered. Will let u all know what happens if anything! Kelly

Hair loss can also be a sign of low progesterone. So I think Momi is right, you should try cutting your PR blockers just a little bit. Maybe you already are a little low in progesterone so you don't need a high dose of PR blockers. Just a thought, I'm no expert by any means.
I also shed huge amounts of hair. Actually I always have, but it did get worse with BE. I have a lot of hair so it's not too noticeable, except all the hair around the house and on the bathroom floor, etc. SP did help in my case, but it took a good 3 months before I noticed a difference.

My hair shedding has certainly dramatically decreased with SP. But I think in my case it's a low temp/thyroid thing rather than low prog. The thyroid thing surprises me too - like Momi, I'm not overweight and just thought I was prone to feeling cold and tired. It seems that your system only needs a slight push to get it out of balance, and you're losing hair / running low temps and who knows what! Let us know how the hair shedding goes, OK?
Good luck!
