Lizzy, Wen, Thanks a lot both of you, I guess I will start with pea-sized amount and spread it so that I dont have to rub more than 3,4 times to absorb. Thanks again

From: veryinterested Sent: 6/25/2003 9:50 AM Wen, Lizzy I had one more stupid question to ask, since we are asked to apply three times a day on clean dry skin, do I have to clean my skin with soap everytime before applying it? I would not really have the time to have three showers a day

From: Mominator5 Sent: 6/25/2003 12:20 PM VeryInterested, Here's a great hint for clean skin and opening those pores before massage. Use astringent like Sea Breeze, it dries quickly and opens the pores. Happy Growin' Momi'

From: Wenonae_ Sent: 6/25/2003 3:34 PM What I meant to write was.... I pretty much apply two times a day regardless of state of skin. However, if I've been working out or something else strenuous where I sweat a lot, I generally shower first anyways, then apply, so I don't rinse it off and it's absorbed into skin without extra dirt. Momi's suggestion sounds like a cool thought, however, I've made nice progress w/o too many extra steps.

A hot wet washcloth rubbed briskly over the area should both exfoliate the skin and open the pores. I've found that as I'm creeping up on 40, my hips and thighs don't really produce much sebum anymore (skin oil) - which is really what you need the soap to remove. Fawn

I don't do anything special when I reapply throughout the day. I just rub it in and go. I don't think that it has slowed down my progress at all. Make sure that you give it at least one month before you look for any improvement. I went for over a month without seeing any real noticeable difference, and then all of a sudden one day it was like WOW! Now it seems as though the marks get lighter and lighter everyday.

From: veryinterested Sent: 6/27/2003 9:21 AM Wen, One more stupid question, I promise this is the last (for now) DO you have to apply the cream on the stretch marks along the line, or jsut rub over the entire area, I have them all over my butt, so I am just rubbing it all over, please elt me know.

No prob, VeryInterested. I just rub over whole vicinity. The strech marks are collapsed/streched out skin attached to healthy skin. So mind's well help the whole area so that as streched skin regains elasticty, that the other skin retains its integrity.

Hi Wen and Lizzy, I had one more question for you guys, are you still using the Strivectin? If 'yes' Isnt 6 weeks enough, why do we need to keep using it? Please let me know. About me - I started using it 2 weeks ago, still havent seen any results, but I am waiting for 4 weeks to be done, so that I can see some results. Thanks

Hey VI, Been away on vacation for a little while, so please excuse the delay. Yes, I'm still using Stri-vectin. In short, you use it until you get desired results. If that happens in 6 weeks, you're thru. I'm almost to goal 'appearance'. I'm going to just keep applying until no further changes can be observed. Most don't see visible results until after week 4, so hang in there like you are. Hope that helps.

I was on vacation, too. I'm still using it, and will continue to use it until I either get the desired results (absolutely NO stretchmarks) or until I feel as though the product is no longer working for me. I would love absolutely clear skin, but if it doesn't happen, I am still very happy with the results. What an improvement. Whatever you do, don't stop using it thinking that it is not working. I kept using it for over a month with no noticable improvement, and then all of a sudden BAM! So don't think that it is not working, it just needs a lot of time.
