Wen - Just add lysine - you should be okay on the cold sore front. Mansi - that sounds like a good split, actually. However, you're using VP BO, so you might want to do 450 x 4 instead - 3 caplets, 4 times per day, last dose right before bed. And if you use a precursor, take it with the precursor, right before bed on an empty stomach. Even though you are generally supposed to use BO with food, you'll be okay taking it with the precursor. Either of you might want to add a pituitary concentrate. Both Solaray and VP make one. Okay-dokey..for tweak, if needed later, I'll consider the pituitary glandular and L-glutaimine. I've taken L-lysine before, and I got serious gitters, so I guess my body doesn't need it, however, I know for fact that L-arginine cause probs..so those two are out. In fact, sounds so good I'm tempted to order the pituitary extract to have it on hand for potentially laterz. Thanks for heads up!

Shouldn't make much of a difference with PCOS, actually.
Solaray makes a thyroid glandular AND a pituitary glandular. For thyroid problems, I would stick with the thyroid glandular.
For HGH stimulation, I would use (and DO use) the pituitary glandular.

Hi Fawn, The reason I was asking the correlation of insuline-resistance as being suggested as a cause of PCOS, and insulin-like factor of IGF-1. Or am I totally a mess here and not getting it. Fenugreek ya' know!

Well - it's "insulin-like" - not insulin. And shouldn't make a huge difference for PCOS.

OK so now I know what not to do! Evidently l'arginine works best cycled-makes sense. I wonder if that liver cleanse enhanced the efficacy of it. The day after I stopped the milk thistle my elbow was unbearably sore which ceased as soon as I stopped the l'arginine+l'glutamine. This was also the first time in two years that I had a really dramatic reaction to fenugreek-and I'm not taking that much. My blood sugar plummeted. Consequently I'm not using it in the middle of the day. It doesn't help that I'm tired a lot either. This is my first month without progesterone as well. I'm trying cycling to see if that works-so far things have been going according to plan. Realizing some growth will be the test. gigi
