Most (if not all) people experience the 'runners high' by getting ten or more minutes of aerobic exercise, as this exercise boosts certain chemicals (neurotransmitters) in the brain.
For some reason, I don't always get this high. But usually I do. So if you want more motivation to get exercise or feel blue and want to feel better emotionally, then go for a run, walk, or any other form of aerobic exercise.
The runners high is subtle, so your not going to feel euphoria from it. However, it can brighten your day.
