Lower: 69cm/27.1¡¯ bust: 81cm/31.9¡¯ weight: 97.4lb Age: 39 Kids: 2, breastfeed both
I basically follows Fengshui¡¯s routine starting October 21, 2010 - Chicken feet soup, a few times a day - Soy milk: one cup after getting up, one cup before bed time - One/two eggs with fermented rice as breakfast - Massage twice a day, boobie batter: olive oil, VE, Aloe, EPO - VE, VD, - one week later, start Borage Oil 2000-3000mg a day
Never had any growth signs. I then added Wild Yam on Dec 11: 6 capsules per day(425g per capsule). Also start to use heating pad after massage. The next day, Dec 12, I felt tingles, and itchness. My breast seems a little more fuller. But I don't know if the sensation comes from wild yam or boobie-friendly food and massage. After two days, my period came(Dec 19), and I lost all the sensation and fullness if there was any.
I then added Saw Palmetto ramping up to 6 capsules as of today. And add fenugreek powder to boobie batter. Today it's Dec 31(5 days after period), I still don't have any growth signs at all. My boobies seem to remain in deep sleep and never wake up.
I start to doubt that NBE will ever work for me. Or I may have to change my routine. But not sure what I should take, or if I should stop for a few weeks before starting a new routine. Regarding Fenugreek, I took it when I was breastfeeding with the intention to increase breastmilk, but it never worked for me. Therefore, I am unwilling to take it now as it may not work for me at all.
More than two months on NBE, no success at all. Desperate, discouraged, depressed. Please please give me any suggestion/ comments.

Hello peachinmarch, You are approaching all the right things, just not there all at once yet. Take a break and start the following on cycle day 1 in February. Current Modified Greenbush Routine Herbs from greenbush.net, Kit #2. (Greenbush because the herbs are fresh and potent.) Main Herbs: (These are the max dosages.) Ramp up on the main herbs slowly until "growing pains" are experienced, 500mg per day of each herb as is outlined in madredesiete's routine. There are various ways to do this. Growing pains are itches, deep aches, etc. Dosages depend on the age, height, weight, current band & cup size, largest band & cup size while breastfeeding, Current diet & exercise, hormonal characteristics (any of the imbalances that may exist), and there are some dosages that are more or less, standard. Fenugreek .............. 1000mg X 3 times daily (3000mg daily) Saw Palmetto ......... 1000mg X 3 times daily (3000mg daily) Mexican Wild Yam ... 1000mg X 3 times daily (3000mg daily) -but you might be 2000mg per day. It depends on what you get when ramping up. Sometimes changing the dosage from day to day, but remaining in the 1500 to 3000mg per day range, may be good to do. EPO (Evening Primrose Oil) .....1000mg X 3 times daily (3000mg daily) Flax Seed Oil...................... 1000mg X 3 times daily (3000mg daily) Additions: A multivitamin with a potent B complex. B12 should be no less than 50mcg. May need kelp and/or L-Tyrosine depending on effects from the herbs, and diet and exercise. Can also take 3000mg of MSM. Also consider gelatin and chicken foot soup. Massage: Massaging herbs into the skin followed by heat: Daily massage-with fenugreek lotion ( See Transdermal Considerations in madredesiete's routine) ror about 5 minutes followed by heat from a heated pad set to low, or "corn bag, or hot towel from dryer" for about 30 minutes each night. (twice per day is better) Leave the concoction on all night. Fennel Tea: Fennel or fenu-fennel tea-daily, one or two cups Use 1 tbsp fenugreek powder, or 1 tsp of powdered fenugreek and 1 tsp of fennel. Put in a coffee filter and tie with string or a close pin. Boil it in 1 or 2 cups of water for 20 minutes. Can also boil water first, take off the stove, then lower the herbs/filer into the water and let sit for 20 minutes. Add lemon/honey etc. for taste if desired. Can also be done with 1 tsp of powdered fenugreek and 1 tsp of fennel. I highly recommend using fennel for the tea. Fennel will help support metabolism. Wrap: Once each week *** Many women leave out this important step. ***Add fenugreek powder to the batter until it becomes more of a paste consistency. You can premake this so it will continue to steep just as the batter does. Apply then follow with heat for one hour. Leave it on all night. How does that look? Any questions? Wahaika

Dear Wahaika Many thanks for your quick reply. I will stop what I am doing right now, and give my body a break. I will start to order greenbush kit and prepare for the new routine in February. You also wrote in madredesiete's routine that women over 30 years of age should take GABA. What is GABA? Where can I find its information? Shall I take it too? Thanks again!

Yep, take GABA too, about 1500mg every night before bedtime at least. Also take gelatin and/or continue chicken foot soup. (I think chicken foot soup is better) Also add 3000mg per day of MSM.
GABA is an amino acid that acts as a neurotransmitter inhibitor, but it also raises growth hormone. Another way to raise growth hormone is to engage in weight bearing exercise. Especially low reps and higher weight.
Another thing to take into consideration is the diet. Can you describe it in terms of what type of and how much protein, fats, carbs, and dark leafy greens that you get daily?

Dear Wahaika, Where can I get GABA? Do they sell it in health food store any drug store? I have never seen them before. I usually add some soy protein powder in my soy drink. As for diet, I am not a big eater. I eat little every day (That may contribute to my no-growth, I think.) I have been trying to eat more asparagus, and spinach. I eat lots of rice (I am a Chinese). As you said, I am doing all the right things. The problem may be that I eat little. I sometimes eat only twice a day, and go to bed after 12:00am almost every night. I was hoping I could have better appetite after starting the NBE, but it didn't help me that way either.

Hello Peachinmarch, GABA is pretty much available anywhere - even grocery stores. Here is one from GNC: www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2133459Twinlab is also a very good one as is the NOW brand and Source Naturals. Soy is going to be a problem. If you want to have a glass of soy milk once in a while that is Ok, but soy protein should be stopped. Whey is a much better protein for athletes. Your exercise is probably helping quite a bit in this, but if you are having problems like dry/brittle nails, dry sticky stools, hair loss, depression, foggy thinking, etc. then the soy (or rather the thyroid which is affected by soy) is likely the culprit. You can help this by taking kelp and L-Tyrosine. A multivitamin with B12, selenium and zinc is in order anyway but these also help the process. You definitely need meat in your diet. Have eggs in the morning. Add chicken to your salads. Get some steak once in a while. These are sources of Tyrosine and Arachidonic Acid which is needed in the process. Rice is Ok, but do not eat it, or anything else high glycemic for three hours before bedtime. This will avoid insulin cancelling out growth hormone that you would be trying to create by using gaba. Rice, sugars, anything starchy should be regulated carefully. They are thought of as low fat because they do not contain fat. But the reality is that they create fat by turning into sugar in the bloodstream very quickly and then being stored as fat by insulin. You are right on your observation of eating habits and bedtime. It is better to eat smaller meals (like 5) during the day and go to bed earlier, even if it is only an hour or two. If every day is spent in sleep depravation and recovery mode then NBE will be more difficult. Now is the best time to start changing these habits. I think you have a real chance at some good success. I have been very impressed with chicken foot soup as an NBE staple. The program outlined above, including the massage considerations should work well, especially given that the best time to start a program is approaching quickly. You might consider some exercise (like weight bearing or resistance, not necessarily aerobic. Do what works and you should do well! Wahaika

Dear Wahaika, It seems I have some soreness these two days. No fullness or heaviness yet. I will continue what I am doing for another week and see if I will have real growth. I will stop soy drink, and start to drink Fenugreek and Fennel tea. If I still don't have real growth, I will completely stop it, and re-start in February. Thanks a lot!

Hello Peachinmarch,
If you really want to test your program, the best time to do it is after the beginning of Spring - about March 21st if you are in the northern hemisphere.
Can you write out your routine again, but exactly what you are taking now, including how you make your batter, how long you let it steep before using it, how long you stay under a heated blanket after massage, how long you massage the batter in, etc. Also please include the number of mg in the capsules you are using. Six capsules of 200mg is very different from six capsules containing 575mg each.

Here is my current routine:
Internals: - Saw Palmetto: 6 x 500mg a day (taken before breakfast, lunch and bedtime) - Wild Yam: 6 x 425g a day (taken before breakfast, lunch and bedtime) - VD (1000iu), VE(1000iu), VC (500mg), B100 complex (1 caplet a day, B12=100mcg), Zinc (25mg a day), I take them all after I get up in the morning. - EPO: 1000mg a day, taken before breakfast together with all other supplements.
I stopped soy milk and protein already (I do have brittle nails. Don't know why Fengshui highly recommended it and it gave her growth). I am taking gelatin powder, about 1 tablespoon a day. I also eat chicken feet soup once a day (2-4chicken feet). start to have lemom water too.
Boobie batter: - Extra virgin Oliver Oil, half a tsp - VE: 2-3 drops - EPO: 1 capsule = 1000mg - Fenugreek powder: 1tsp
Usually steep overnight, then use it.
Massage: 1. Using heating pad to heat my boobies for 5 minutes under low heat 2. Massage all the batter into my boobies. I used to adopt Fengshui's massage technique, but stopped a few days ago. I am currently using a massager (My husband bought it to massage his waist and shoulder, it's kinda big, and not ideally for boobies, but it will do the trick, I think.) to do rotation massage for about 15 minutes. Once a day. When I have time, I may do it twice a day, but not so often. 3. Then put saran wrap on top of my boobies, and using heating pad for 20 minutes under low heat.
I am kinda discouraged now, and not really stick to the boobie-friendly food. I don't know why I don't have any growth signs. Now I do have some pains occassionally. But I am not sure if it will give me any growth. If there is fullness and heaviness in the coming days, I willl start to drink fenugreek and fennel tea. Otherwise, I will completely stop it.
Another question, if I stop all the current routine and re-start in March ( I am in Canada), do I need to do liver cleanse first? What's the best way to do liver cleanse?

That looks like a very good program. You could continue what you are doing, or take a break if you want to - you have time. Look into milk thistle at your local health food store - GNC? You have a very good program, all it lacks is internal fenugreek. Doing the above, start ramping up fenugreek by 500mg every day or two, always evaluating how you feel and if you are experiencing growing pains. Do not exceed 3000mg per day of fenugreek. When you get growing pains, you can remain at that dosage - or bounce around it and see what works the best. You might make a bunch of booby batter all at once and let it steep for at least a week. The longer the better.
You should see your best results in about March through May or even out to August. Taking a break now, if you wanted to, would work well. Excellent program!
What brand of herbs are you using?

So those sensation only lasts two days, then stopped. I am very discouraged. Yes, there is GNC here, and other health food store. So Milk thistle is to cleanse my liver? Hi Peachinmarch,
I can think of three reasons.
1) You are not taking anything known to cause growth such as fenugreek. The combination of fenugreek, wild yam, saw palmetto, and fennel tea is very good. But if fenugreek (the main ingredient) is missing, then it should not work for most women.
2) This is not a good time of the year to do an NBE program. Later, when the days are longer it will get better.
3) You may be stalled. Stopping everything for a week and observing the effects is the usual test.

- Fenugreek: 610mg today. Will ramp up day by day. - Flas seed oil: 1000mg a day - Gaba: 500mg a day. I am also drinking Fenugreek/Fennel tea two cups a day.
If there is still no obvious growth after I ramp up Fenugreek to 6 capsules, I will stop everything and retart in March.

I am ramping up Fenugreek to 5 today. These days, there are some sensations, itches and aches, but not intensive. It seems there is some growth: 81cm -->82cm. Very very slow, if the measurement tape is right. At least, it keeps me going.
