Hello! I'm not entirely new to BE, but I'm embarking again after a break. I have sort of a weird situation, so I'll give you the basics first. Then, if you're so inclined, there's detailed medical history and stats here:

I'm already altering my hormones in order to reduce auto-immune issues and I'm not sure how that will affect me. I'm currently at 160 mg saw palmetto once daily, and 1120mg fenugreek, split into two doses daily. I still do dry massage, but I have been working out the best options to make a massage oil for myself. Please feel free to make suggestions if there seems to be a glaring issue.
Due to past sensitivities (esp animal hormones), and with lots of research, this is what I'm leaning towards...
Oral, Daily Intake:
Fenugreek - 3,000 mg max
Red Clover - 3,000 mg max
Saw Palmetto - 3,000 mg max
Topical oil recipe:
2oz Evening primrose
2oz Emu Oil (acts as a carrier to drastically boost absorption, extends shelf life; please no vegetarian outcry)
1oz Sweet almond (to lower the viscosity)
3ml Fennel essential oil (more concentrated than extract, therapeutic grade, chosen because it is less expensive than fenugreek)
This produces an appropriate level of dilution with regard to essential oils and is a safe starting point.
Notes on ingredients:
I would like to add pueraria mirifica, but I am moving slowly and have seen fewer reviews on this herb.
Because fennel has basically the same active processes as fenugreek, I am not sure what benefit it has in being added to the blend. I will add it if I reach my fenugreek max and am unsatisfied with results.
I buy almost all my supplements from Puritan's Pride. They have a very good reputation, are extremely inexpensive, and I've had very good luck with them in the past. They were where I got my first fenugreek supplements and those were successful in producing signs of growth in just one month. I highly recommend them. A great place for herbs is Mountain Rose Herbs and small quantities of therapeutic grade essential oils are available super cheap from sun_pure_botanicals on eBay.
