Hi lovely friends!
I found this interesting article which maybe you will like. I don't really know if it's true or not; Wahaika we need your expertise and knowledge for help and clarifications regarding this article XD
Ok so here it is:
Zero Carbohydrates = Bigger Breasts?
Tanya Zafino, author of the popular online acne cure book, The Zafino Method: The Complete Guide to Acne Free, Perfect Skin, has found strong anecdotal evidence that suggests a zero carbohydrate diet increases breast size.
Zafino has received scores of emails from female customers who have reported that their changed diet not only significantly decreased their incidence of acne, but also resulted in an increase in breast size of approximately one cup size.
“I initially disregarded these emails. I mean, it’s a fairly incredible thing to say that a zero carbohydrate diet equals bigger breasts. But after 10 or so emails, I started to think this could be real. And now I have a collection of about 60 emails that all state an experience in permanent breast enlargement as a result of a zero carbohydrate diet.”
Zafino compiled the emails and contacted the women who sent them, in order to gain a clearer picture of this apparent phenomenon.
She found that the women ranged in age from 18 to 28 years. They all reported a that they had an ‘average’ to ‘slightly overweight’ body before the change in their diet, and within a two to three weeks of their new diet, they found that they experienced a welcome loss in weight and an increase in breast size. They were all non-smokers and had not yet had children.
“I am a scientific person by nature, and I’d rather seek to prove this phenomenon wrong before anyone starts to get excited about it. But I don’t want to leave it as a ‘dormant issue’ that does not at least generate some healthy, science-based discussion.”
Zafino has her own theory as to why breasts may become larger as a result of a zero carbohydrate diet.
“I think the central issue is the effect of diet on hormones. The modern diet is excessively high in carbohydrates. This results in most people experiencing abnormal and unhealthily high levels of insulin in their bodies for most of their day, and indeed most of their life. A high insulin level impacts the level of other hormones, namely growth hormones, within the body. And the hormone of most interest here is estrogen. I think that perhaps when a woman experiences a drop in insulin she experiences a rise in estrogen. And this then allows the promotion of breast growth in a way that is not possible in a body that experiences a continually high insulin level.”
She points toward recent evidence that regular consumption of coffee results in a decrease in breast size, as found by researchers at the Lund and Malmo Universities in Sweden. They found that there was a relationship between the CYP1A2*1F gene, estrogen and coffee. They found that a consumption of coffee effectively retards breast growth.
”I would guess there is also a genetic link amongst all this. Perhaps the CYP1A2*1F gene is also influenced by the level of insulin in one’s body. But I think the jury is going to stay out on this one for some time yet.”
