Wahaika, 1. Do you feel that the majority of the weight gain women experience while taking Saw Palmetto occurs more in the winter months? 2. Do you feel that Saw Palmetto has a better track record than Stinging Nettle?
3. Also, I looked on the Greenbush site and it states that their SP is ground, mine is a liquid, (it says standardized extract on the bottle). Does it make a difference?
Thank you! Serene

The standardized extract I have is only 160 mg. I would like to take enough to try to save my size with the weight loss I've had, and hopefully so I don't lose anymore if I loose more weight. Serene

Hello Serene, www.greenbush.net/4ounsawpalex.htmlIf you want to save your size during weight loss, you need fenugreek, saw palmetto at least, and preferably wild yam. Also take (and use in massage) borage oil. Saw palmetto does not usually do it alone. Wahaika

Thank you again, I have switched from Stinging Nettle to Saw Palmetto. I haven't lost any more size since the switch, but what I've lost is considerable. I am not trying to loose weight, but life has handed me a bushel of lemons, and I have lost my appetite. I know I will be able to make lemonade, but for right now I have to wait.
I have been massaging, but I have also just been applying some of my batter, shich I have added SP to, 3-4 times a day separate from my massage. By applying I mean I just put a little bit on and don't really rub it in much. I leave it on throughout the day. If this will hinder progress please let me know. Thank you, Serene

I forgot to answer your questions above:
1. Yes. But I have not limited it to Winter months when it comes to Saw Palmetto. It also has to do with pre existing fat.
2. Yes.
3. Other than the differences in strength, the extracts should be more easily absorbed.
Also, Saw Palmetto is not going to do anything for you in massage. The best thing for massage is what you were using here:

Fenugreek and olive and/or Borage oil is the best thing to use.
