Age: 24 Height: 5'3 Weight: About 115 Bra Size: 34B (small) No kids Vegetarian, but consume eggs and dairy Goal 34C (large)
Morning Fenugreek 1500mg Borage Oil 1050mg Red Clover 500mg Fennel 450mg
Midday Red Clover 450mg Saw Palmetto 540mg
Evening Fennugreek 1500mg Borage Oil 1050mg Fennel 450mg
I also take Flax oil caplets, a multivitamin, silica, a hair/skin/nails supplement, and vitamin B complex. I massage with vitamin E oil, do I need to add something to it, or is the act of massage enough? And I drink a whey protein shake daily, mixed into a glass of milk.
My question about the Fenugreek is, it comes in 1500mg capsules, and is recommended to be taken 3 times a day, but that seems like way too much from what I've seen. I'm a little worried about even starting off with 3k. Does that seem excessive?
Thank you, thank you, thank you for any input at all! <3

Hi Peppermint, You may want to add fenugreek to your massage. Heat is also recomended after massaging. Some ladies have done heat before and after massage. You are right that starting off with that much fenugreek is too much. You should be able to find that different brands offer different mg's. Greenbush (which is highly recommended) is 575 mg, GNC is 675 mg-610 mg. There are a lot of brands, some good, some bad. Greenbush is the most recommended. It is also recommended to not use Red Clover, (I'm using it in my routine as recommended by my ND. for PMS-I am hoping it does not mess up any chances I have). I hope I have helped some. Wahaika is the best source to learn from and hopefully can offer more advice, and/or fill in any blanks. His wifes routine has great graphs and explanations. beboard.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Routines&action=display&thread=3029Best of luck! Serene

Thanks for the reply. =)
So I've been on this for several days, tweaking/adding things here and there, and the doses are not as high as I have listed yet. Last night at 2:30am I got really sick and kind of feverish. I've since been throwing up at least every 2 hours, with the last time being 3 hours ago so (knock on wood) I think I'm coming out of it. It was at the point where even small amounts of water were coming right back up. At any rate, I hadn't made any major changes in my routine yesterday. Has this happened to anyone else when starting a routine, or is it likely coincidence? I'm a little afraid to start back up once I can keep something down!
Edit: I'm not over it. This is horrible. =(

peppermint, I can't say I'm the best person to answer if anyone else has gotten sick when starting out. I really hope you feel better soon. I would go easy on anything that you eat. If you've only been doing the herbs for several days and you can't keep anything down it might be best if you wait until you are better before taking anymore herbs. Then when you start again go at it really slowly to make sure it was not a reaction to anything that you were taking. Hope you feel better soon! Serene
