Well I decided to pluck up the courage to try a pink grapefruit today and found I quite enjoyed it. Being bored at work I typed "Pink Grapefruit" into Google and came across all sorts of websites pointing out the risks of breast cancer, and was immediatel put off Grapefruit.
"A study of 50,000 post-menopausal women found eating just a quarter of a grapefruit daily raised the risk by up to 30%."
"Previous studies have shown that a molecule called cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) is involved in metabolising oestrogen hormones"
"They said: "It is well established that oestrogen is associated with breast cancer risk."
A good few websites including BBC News. Wikipedia and other random sites have all claimed the above statements.
Hmmm....

This is junk science at its best. I would LOVE to see the study. Do you have a link to it?
I am so sick of idiot researchers tying breast cancer to estrogen.
Women manufacture their own estrogens. Isn't it interesting how many women don't have breast cancer. To say that since breast cancer feeds on estrogen that estrogen is the cause is idiocy.
"Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!"
