Hey Serene- This seems like a really good site overall The only pause is on the hot/cold shower thing. Just do what your body will tolerate wrt to the temperature. Wen'

Wenona, Thanks for checking the site out! I'm not sure what kind of brush I'll be getting, I know it won't be one like on the web site. I've never seen one like that anywhere before, of course, I wasn't looking either. I'll have to check around the next time I go shopping. I don't think I'll go for the hot cold shower part of it, who knows what trouble my 2 yr. old will get into if he's not being watched . I checked out some other sites on skin brushing. They all pretty much explain the reasoning behind it the same. There are sometimes small differences in the directions in which you brush; for example some say brush up and down, some say brush towards the heart, some say to do circular where as some will say brush across. There are other differences as well, which I won't go into because it's too late, and I'm tired. Thanks again Wen! Serene

The best, simplest method is to brush towards the closest lymph nodes. Your body will then either get rid of or distribute accordingly. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lymph_nodesWen'

I actually do the hot/cold shower part of it, along with cellulite massage which flushes the skin, and stretches the tissues inside that are part of the reasoning for the dimpling affect, and have been doing it daily for the last 3 weeks. I have already noticed a firmness in my legs, and less of a "hold" to the thicker parts of my thighs. I like the shower part, and believe that it really does help with the circulation. Of course your body is going to respond to hot vs cold, and get the circulation flowing. It just makes sense.

It's really, Dry skin-brushing is recommended to stimulate lymph and blood circulation for the removal of impurities under the skin surface.
