Hey, I was just about to start my routine today, when I decided to do a general search on Wild Yam cream, and well... me being 19 I was freaked out by all the relations to menopause and the like, and not only that, but this article also made me worry: www.quackwatch.org/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/wildyam.htmlBasically I remember that page was not entirely reliable, but it still touches some interesting points. And now I'm scared of using the Wild Yam cream... has anyone young used it? Would there be any side effects?

It's not necessarily 'age' that's an issue with wild yam- it's your hormonal balance. Typically as women reach menopause, periods stop (an indicator that the ovaries are not out-putting enough progesterone). Wild yam can help with making up the diff.
However, there are some women who don't have enough production in their bodies and they currently have a regular mensus.
If you take something and it's too much for your system- you'll have side effects no matter if it's wild yam or vitamin C. Wild yam users that have successful BE usually are deficient in progesterone. How do you know if that's you? You can try several online tests and see if you get the same answer each time or if it's your flow, have a competent dowser read your system in the Alt. Methods folder.

I found I was allergic to Wild Yam. I was using it as a cream and it made my skin break out. I just cut it from my program. My program seemed to be better all around after.
