Wenona, I'm hoping you can help me understand what a mental block is. I'm thinking it has to do with the occaisional thoughts of "no this isn't going to work for me", or any other negative thoughts that might keep your breasts from growing? Does that make sense? Almost like your thoughts are holding the growth back? (I'm not a dowser, but I totally respect that you do, I don't think it's for me, but I do beleive in listening to your body). Thanks! Serene

Serene Yes, yes..I think you're saying this well. Would just add that it's a "fear/worry" that you can't see another way to think about no matter what you say to yourself. Wen'

I have to agree with Wenonae. I'm still working on my mental block, but I have to say that the more I work through it the more confident I've become in my body, even though I haven't had a lot of growth yet, as I have just started my BE program.
Good luck!

Thanks, to you both!!! I think my mental block is going to be hard for me to overcome, but I am going to do my best! I think you are right Farmer's wife, I think I too will have more confidence the more I work through it. My husband said it's something I could pray about, but it seems like such a selfish prayer.
Wenona, I think you hit the nail on the head about the fear/worry. I describe myself as a wall flower's wallflower, I think I'm afraid I might get noticed. This may sound weird, I know, hard for me to explain.
Thanks again to you both!!! I really appreciate the support.

Guys, I have the same problem, I think. With as long as I've been doing this and dowsing routines, I should be busting out of my bras by now lol. But I'm not. I've dowsed good routines, and Wen has verified them for me, but I'm still missing the mental component. I know I have a confidence issue. Not just with my body, but even though everybody thinks I'm smart, I feel like a fraud. I see all these brilliant people in my profession that I want to be like then I look at myself and feel inferior. I find that when I feel this way, it translates to my body issues too, boobs included. Then my discipline just breaks down and I don't massage enough, or I sleep instead of reading something that will help me at work or school, things like that. Interesting form of self-sabotage, eh? I honestly don't know what to do, I'm at my wit's end. I think this way of thinking is really a habit, and we know that habits can be hard to break! Almost everything I've read here and at Eve's board say that self-acceptance and positive attitude is the start of successful BE. Actually, it's the start of a successful ANYTHING. Since I know that I'm struggling with this, I'm starting a personal challenge, and I invite anyone here to join me. As Earl Nightingale said, you become what you think about. What you focus on expands. If your BE attempt fails, you can focus on the failure or focusing on trying something different until you succeed. Same thing for everything else. I think that's a problem for a lot of us, and I know it's definitely been holding me back from so much. And it's sad, really. So my mission now is to get out of my failure-oriented mindset. And I don't mean this to offend anyone, so my apologies if I sound harsh or accusatory or anything. I know it's difficult and it takes practice to overcome. Every week I'm going to post something that I feel is helpful towards getting a more positive mindset. I'll start by suggesting that we look at the picture pages here and on Eve's site to see the great success some people have had. That's what you want to focus on. T. Harv Ecker said "Bless that which you want." The hard part! Basically, if you see someone who has what you want, don't be jealous or negative about it, because if you associate it with negativity, your subconcious will keep it away from you. Some of the stuff I post may not have anything directly to do with BE, but more with success and positivity in general. I think success principles can be applied to all areas of life, though. This first one I liked because it really speaks about discipline, something I can us more of in BE and elsewhere: www.todayisthatday.com/blog/are-you-bringing-it-or-just-winging-it/I hope this can help somebody. Again, please, if anyone has anything to contribute, please feel free. Until next time, ladies Have a good one!

WOW! I like that you are moving forward towards positive encouragement!!! I have found one way to encourage yourself is to encourage others. Sometimes the positive reinforcement we give to others helps in our own attitudes. The site you posted had some really good stuff. Thanks for being a cheerleader!! I look forward to seeing more posts! Should this topic be posted under offtopic? Have a great week!! serene

OMG..LadyoftheShadows, I've come up with the perfect exercise..that I'm sure it'll help in your case too! This method will get rid of mental blocks and so much more. EXTREMELY powerful. Let me know how it works out for you. I posted this on my other forum.... Hello Everyone-
This is a helpful exercise to rid yourself of worries and fears as it relates to your success with a regimen, a prayer, or a request. It's especially helpful for those who are obsessing over progres and not seeing any. Incidentally, this information is supplemental to information written by Brian Tracy, the best-seller "the Secret", etc. In short- a step by step for how to FOCUS on positive thoughts and bring those thoughts into fruition.
[3] Take the piece of paper with NEGATIVE statements and ball it up as tight as possible. While holding it, picture that ball being raised to the brightest Light u can imagine. [4] Once visualization is completed, take the paper and burn it (on a piece of AL foil or somewhere safe) to smitherings! [5] Take the positive affirmations and pull them out to read/say when any other worries pop up regarding this subject. Keep copies at your work desk, in your purse, your wallet, etc.[/ul] This exercise will help to put only positive thoughts into your mind about what you're trying to accomplish, but it will bring to you faster the results you want and deserve. ;D THOUGHTS ARE THINGS! Hello ladies, Thank you for the very useful links, suggestions and quotes. I DO truly believe that the positive thinking makes the greatest difference in all things, and it is far too often forgotten by those who are in pursuit of goals. Being GRATEFUL for what you have first will lead you to the abundance needed to go farther, whatever your goals may be. Ladyoftheshadows, thanks for the article on bringing it-Winging it... I must admit that for the past few years I have been in the latter category. So I too am calling a new beginning, getting healthy and TRAINING my MIND via positive thinking, visualization and meditation. It is the only way to acheive my goals. And in the end, BE is just another on the list to self improvement... STOP ASKING THE QUESTIONS AND BEGIN FOCUSING ON THE ANSWERS Much love and support, Ella
