Hello all, I was hoping that somebody could advise me on how to do a good, basic cleanse to flush out my liver before re-starting my routine. There is a lemon-water and epsom salts thing that seems to be popular...Can anyone tell me more about it? Thanks! Ella

So what is the minimum number of days you have to do for an adequate cleanse?

Does it have to be epsom salt or would table salt work? (Or would table salt not work quite as well?)

just in case you didn't get this answer kitty, no, table salt would not work. If you look on a package for epsom salt, its for sore muscles (as a soak) and also for constipation as a laxitive or stool softener... Table salt doesn't do that, it only raises your blood pressure.

I don't know alot about NBE, but I do know you should not do a liver cleanse unless you've done a colon cleanse. Otherwise, your not flushing anything out. You could be doing more harm than good.

So long as you can still urinate and deficate- "something" is being flushed out. A liver cleanse doesn't have to be intensive and it CAN effectively be done without a colon cleanse. I've been there and done that. Wen'

ssunflower,
I think you may be confusing liver cleanse with liver flush. Yes, you always want to flush bowels and kidneys before doing a liver flush. But a liver cleanse is not so drastic.
