Wen My luteal period from taking my first dose of EE was between the 11th and 24th Nov. I had to take my first dose on Sat 17th because I was travelling I couldn't control what I ate, so I was eating bad, eating late and going to bed late so I waited until Saturday when I got back into my routine. Now my period decide to start today, almost 5 days early. Have I messed things up?

Okay Wen, another question... Okay, EE is supposed to last us 3 months, right? Well since I'm in the 19-39 age group I started my first dose in luteal and my next is during follicular/ovulation. So I guess my question is, do I take my second dose during the follicular/ovulation immediatley following the luteal I took my first dose or do I skip that follicular and wait until the next one? I hope this doesn't confuse you, cause I'm confusing myself and I know what I mean lol Like I took my first dose 11/11 day 25 of my cycle. So do I take the second dose between 11/14 and 12/1? Or do I wait to take it to the following follucilar stage (12/12-12/29)? Cause if I take it this month between the 14th and dec 1, then I take my last dose during the next luteal, then the EE will only last me a month... Hope you understood that. Thanks!

You then wait until your 3rd cycle's lutel to take your last. EBook has each cycle labeled...Cycle 1- luteal, Cycle 2- follicular, Cycle 3- luteal. Wen'

but it should be more than a month - for instance - if you took you first dose in the last 14 days of this cycle - you take your next dose during the first 14 days of the next cycle - so yes - within a 28 day period you take two doses. the other dose you take the NEXT cycle - so i THINK you skip the second cycles luteal and wait till the next - that would spread the doses out over three cycles, but not three months

Wen Just to make sure, I am travelling for 1 month, would EE be ok to take with my maleria tablets? ZZ Do not take them at the same time, but it's fine to take an EE dose, then a couple of hours later take your malaria dose and continue the maleria pills throughout the month. Wen' i need to take antibiotics - would the rules above apply to antibiotics as well? would antibiotics interfere with the ee at all? thanks!

Since you've taken it already... Nope, EE will not interfere.

Hey Wen, this may have been covered but I didn't see it anywhere...Is drinking going to mess with EE? I'm not an alcoholic or anything, just a college student I usually drink once on the weekend and maybe have a glass of wine or two during the week...but if you think it will hinder my efforts I would have no problems holding off on the alcohol for awhile...thanks again for all of your help...

Heya EM- It was just commeted in a routine. In general, social drinking doesn't inhibit. During the first 2 weeks, wine seems to amp up PMS symptoms. You're fine with the drinking schedule you've posted. Wen'

Hi...what's happening with the EE trials? None of the links are working for me. Things are going well. Which links aren't working? Go to the Routines Section and browse updates there. Wen'
