Hi all, I'm new to this forum and have been reading many threads and all the advice is so good! However, I can't use any herbs that produce hormones because a while ago they found a fibroadenoma on my left breast. It's totally benign of course but I even had to stop taking birth control pills because any extra hormones could make it grow. My gynecologist said it should go away on its own if I cut down on caffeine and sugary products and do not take any products with hormones in them. Before this happened, I was going to try herbs but now I've found an alternative that might work. When searching for some alternative to try to increase my self-esteem, I found a great technique called Emotional Freedom Technique. It is about tapping some meridians or energy points while repeating some phrases. The idea of EFT is that any negative emotion is a disruption in the body's energy system. They have the same principles as acupuncture and acupressure but you can do it on your own. At their website, www.emofree.com, you can download for free the manual that teaches you about EFT. The good thing about EFT is that it can be applied on everything, from phobias to illnesses and so far it has worked great for me, not on BE yet because I'm sure it'll take some time but on other issues it has worked wonders. I just wanted to know if anyone here has used this technique before, because I've read some posts about acupressure too. If not, I might be the first... Also, I've been trying to find out about acupressure for BE but none of the information has been really useul. What I would like to know is if anybody here knows how and where to apply it for BE. I've found books that cover pretty much all the points except for BE, so if anybody knows, please please let me know. Thanks, Estef

Hi, Estef This post is of great interest to me, as I've been meaning to try EFT for over six months and keep putting it off. It sounds like a really workable concept and it's awesome that you've had success with the techniques! I want to try it for depression, among other things, but just haven't...was a bit intimidated by the instructions. In regards to using it for breast growth, I have heard of this before -- read an article somewhere about a woman that gained two cups sizes fairly quickly, if I recall correctly. However, the article made it sound like the reason this worked for her is that she never grew at all during puberty due to emotional issues surrounding her body -- heal the issues, heal the stifled growth was how they explained it. So if you're very small breasted and suspect you have a mental block against growth, maybe it can help? I'm curious how this technique would work for those that have larger breasts or at least some growth but want to be fuller or a tad bigger...not sure if it translates and couldn't find any info on that. I'm looking to gain about half a cup size because my breasts went through some weird shift where they lost volume, and I actually do have hope that EFT could work because a lot of my feelings around this experience have been very intense and negative. I guess it couldn't hurt, right? If you start to find progress with EFT, please post your reults! I am using an herbal method and am set to try the Elegance Elixir soon, but perhaps combining EFT and hypnosis will put our minds in a good place to accept any growth that may be coming. Good luck. Hopefully someone else will know more about this! Kate

Hi Kate, That's a great article. I do remember that when I was a teenager some of my friends with bigger breasts used to say that I looked like a boy and even the mother of a friend said that I looked like a table because of how flat I am so I think EFT could solve those emotional problems and who knows, I might grow a little! Now that I think back, people can be so mean! I do recommend that you try EFT. It has helped me so much in all kinds of issues, from emotional to physical that now I tell everyone about it. I've been using it for my low self-esteem and it's unbelievable how much it has helped me. Of course, I still have a long way to go but the changes have been great. In one of the newsletters from their website they sent a link to another website that introduced a variation of EFT called the Choices Method. This one includes affirmations besides the setup phrase which is usually negative and this one has worked better for me. The link for the free manual is eft-innovations.com/PDFs/TheMagicofChoicesinEFT.pdfHope you can find it helpful, it has helped me so much! Estef

Hi Kate I know, the negativity in the EFT phrases made me think about it but since I found the choices method I've been using only that one and with great results. Well, I've used it for many things: I'm really really thin and have a hard time eating because my stomach seems to be so small that I eat a little and then I'm full so I've used EFT to make me feel hungrier and eat more. I'm desperate to gain some weight and it's always been so hard for me to eat! Also, I'm a musician, I'm a soprano and play the piano as well and I've been using EFT to help me reach some high notes that are sometimes very difficult and once I was practicing with my keyboard my right arm felt really sore and I couldn't play anymore so I used EFT and the pain almost vanished! I could still feel some pain but the next morning it was all gone and I know it was EFT because I'd felt that before after playing for a long time and it doesn't vanish as fast... Sometimes I suffer from constipation (embarassing...) and I guess it's because I don't eat so much even though I try my best, so I've been applying EFT regularly and it has helped a bit, not so much as with the other issues, but I guess it'll take some time until I get back to "normal" because I've been like this for years, and I'm only 22! I try to apply it many times a day and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't but specially with my musical performance, which is one of the most important things to me it has worked wonders! Sometimes, due to the fact that learning how to sing classically (which is what I want) correctly takes years, my throat gets hoarse and its because I'm definetely doing something wrong so with EFT I've discovered some of the issues underlying that and i'm improving a lot... Sorry we're totally off topic now, but I'm definitely gonna tell you all guys when/if I see growth in my breasts by using EFT. As I said before, I can't use any herbs or anything, so if it works, it will only be because of EFT. I've been searching for hypnosis too, but like you said it's expensive, so I'll see how it goes with EFT and if it doesn't work well, then I might try that... Take care, Estef

I'm sure I've posted about the goodness of EFT - but not sure how much detail I provided. You may want to try searching the forum for it.
LOVE EFT - I've only found ONE thing that it hasn't worked on. And you know what - I probably just wasn't persistant enough.
Once you get the hang of it, it's quick and easy.
Thanks for reminding me about it.

I only have the manual also, and so far it has helped me on pretty much everything. I don't know about the tapes and videos, but for me, they're not necessary. I'm really glad to hear it's working with you!!! It hasn't worked on me yet but I'll be persistent and maybe in a while I'll see results. Let us know if you do see any improvement! To Fawnmarie: I tried the search engine and couldn't find any older posts on EFT... What have you said about it? Thanks!
