I received my CD yesterday and think it may be defective. I ordered the musical version instead of the 'sounds of nature', yet it's a terrible mix of some weak instrumental and the sound of ocean waves crashing. This mix comes across as constant, blaring static and is very headache-inducing. What's worse is that the subliminal messages can be heard loud and clear and sound almost demonic; a man talking in a robotic, deep voice that slowly changes to a woman's voice. I thought the messages were supposed to be completely hidden, inaudible to the conscious mind? This is really, really unpleasant and I can't imagine listening to it for more than two minutes, so I'm wondering if they messed up the production of this disc somehow.
For those that have this CD, does that sound normal? Can you hear the messages? Thanks.

Thanks, Wen. I just wrote them an e-mail and can hopefully get a replacement in the form of the nature CD instead. I forgot to mention that there are also weird beeping sounds in the background...t's like a three-ring circus with all of these noises, lol. Very disconcerting!

Thanks, Pixie. I think my CD must be messed up pretty badly because I can hear the voices louder than the music, and at one point they start talking backwards, lol. I'm afraid to listen to it without headphones now because it's so clear. Plus, I' seem to have a mix of ocean waves and instrumentals on the same CD. Weird! I haven't heard back from company and it's been awhile. Anyway, did you find success with this CD over time? Thanks!
