Hi there, ever since I read about the sublimininal tapes and the results they may deliver, I kept wondering about something...it could be a silly question but I'd like to hear your opinion on the matter. English isn't my native language. I have a pretty good knowledge of it but I'm not a native speaker. The subliminal tapes "pass" messages to your brain...but what happens when these messages are being read in English by the person who reads the script? I mean is the message clear enough subconsciously even when you don't know the meaning of a word in English? Should I read the script first and see if I fully comprehend it? I've already contacted innertalk by e-mail asking all of these questions but have got NO reply so far ...Any ideas/suggestions? ~M

Innertalk can be slow to reply by email.
Yes - read the script! They send one with every tape, and on the online catalog, they give a list of many of the affirmations that are used.
Your written English is excellent - how long have you been using it?

Thanks for the compliment Fawn...I'm 26 and I'm Greek. Most of us start studying English at the age of 10-12. Good knowledge of English is indispensable these days, let alone when someone wants to work abroad... Can't help feeling insecure all the time though... ~M

Well, if you've been using it THAT long, it should be worth using the soundtracks.
My experience with foreign language is that if you are currently immersed in an English speaking environment, it will become part of your subconscious pretty quickly (or any language with complete immersion).
For example, my ex-husband lived in South Korea for only two years, and spent much time with the local populace and learning the language. Although he never studied it formally, and was never what one could call "fluent", he dreamed (and talked in his sleep) in Korean.
I am even less fluent in French and German, yet have dreamed in both languages, even just recently. I haven't seriously studied French in over a decade, and I have no French-speaking friends or family members, yet I had a French language dream just last week.
I've read many of the scripts that Innertalk is using, the language and words used are very basic and simple. Judging from your use of the language in written form, I don't think anything about them will be outside your comprehension. They are, in fact, designed to appeal to the most childish and primitive parts of the brain.

My innertalk tape(nature) sounds like waves crashin over a bunch of white noise. However when I listen on headphones, I can clearly hear a man with a very deep voice in my right ear saying"My cells multiply. My breast are large and veluptuous." Eventually a woman chimes in in the left ear and then they alternate ears, but its kind of hard to take it seriously coming from a man who sounds like Dr. Phil. I can only imagin the fun of recording that in the studio.

Dowse the volume that it should be in order for it to be effective while you're doing this.

I have the music innertalk cd and I was told that you were supposed to hear the confirmations. Now that I think about it, the script seems silly and what adds to the hilarity is a guy is saying the script. I remember starting it and found it kinda creepy cause it sounded like some of the script was said backwards. Now its easy to listen to and I even get the music stuck in my head. I can't tell if its working for me yet, but I really hope so.

I use the IT cd with the nature background and it works for me even after I fall asleep or do/don't hear the words. I suppose dowsing could be used to tell you if it is more beneficial with or without hearing but the whole idea is SUBLIMINAL - that means NOT to hear so that is how I listen to it after I dowse how long to listen. I love it

i also have been using the innertalk tapes, and they seem to be working, according to my pendulum. i know some of the testimonials made it seem like you get immediate results, but i'd give it a few months. best of luck to anyone using these tapes (and everyone else, too, of course )
