"...Our bodies know a lot more than we (our minds) do. Your body knows what's bad for you, or what's good for you. All you have to do is ask. Dowsing is merely allowing your body to communicate with you, through the use of a sensitive device like a pendulum or dowsing rod. It's VERY EASY. However, it may not seem to "work" for people whose energy is blocked or out of balance.
A way to test, is by taking a ring (preferably gold or silver), not too heavy without a gem attached to it - I use my gold wedding band as my pendulum - then take a piece of sewing thread, tying it to the ring and allowing several inches of extra thread so that you can hold onto one end and let the ring dangle.
Hold it w/ your right hand (between your thumb and index finger) and let the ring dangle a couple of inches over the open palm of your left hand. Once the ring is still, ask it "Show me YES." And see what movement it makes. Then "Show me NO." Then "Show me which direction my chakra is spinning." And if it's working for you, and if your palm chakra is open, it will start spinning like a tetherball (the more energy you have running, the more crazy it'll spin).
If it's not working for you, you may need a better device to use as a pendulum, or you may have a blockage that needs to be cleared. One important thing to keep in mind is that MOTIVATION has everything to do with how it works for you. You should never ask personal questions about other people, or questions where you might be emotionally attached to the answers, or intend to use the answer to undermine another person/situation. It will either refuse to answer the question, or may give you inaccurate info.
Do google searches for pendulums/dowsing to find more info on different techniques.
If you have a hard time getting started - and your interested in getting started is sincere and open - let me know and I'll help out further. This isn't for everyone, but I'm willing to help anyone who's motivations (outside of BE) are in the right place.
