Okay, this hopefully will be the last time I reply to this thread...LOL...,
I totally agree with Fawn here. And like Momi, I couldn't have said it any better! I think that there are so many times that one has to bite their tongue and go on with their life...apparently this wasn't one of those times. I don't see a reason that this has to be such a big deal for basically one person...I mean, besides M97 agreeing with Wahaika, who else has stepped in to "denounce" us and what we are doing?
Wahaika, how is what we are doing directly affecting your life? So why is this such an issue for you? I think that maybe a step back should be taken here.
Okay, so this goes against what you believe in...so what? Doesn't mean that I or anyone else have the exact same beliefs that you do! And no, I don't feel like being preached at on how Christians act.
I think this DOES have alot to do with being open minded, but I have never tried to force anything on you. I am a big GIRL now and don't think that I need ANY help staying on the path to rightousness. I don't need the holier than thou act here.
There are many things that Fawn has put in her post that do make alot of sense. But to understand it all, well, I guess it requires an open mind as well!

As one of the 269 members of this board my sense has always been that this cooperative endeavor was an evolution of sorts. Different ideas are presented and can be accepted or rejected on an individual basis. "My way or the highway," didn't figure into the equation-from anyone. I understand disagreement but the initial characterizations were unnecessary and undeserved. Can this thread please be removed to OFF TOPIC where it should be?

Well, it looks like that's it. Here is my reply.

I hope that by now it is obvious that I could write a 3 to 5 page response to all of the above. I don't think that you want to read it, and I really have better things to do with my time than to write something that long only to continue an argument.

As I'm sure you all have noticed, this is getting nowhere. I am not going to convince you of anything and you are most definitely not going to convince me of anything. Especially by continuous ad hominem attacks.

I have not imposed my religous beliefs on anyone. I stated my opinion and you have taken offense. Did I blow all of this out of porportion all by myself or does it take two to tango?

I am here to learn and to share what I have learned. I am not here for some kind of peep show or anything similar. There are other places on the internet that I could waste my time and mind on if that is what I was after. If some of you can't accept that, there's nothing I can do or say to convince you. It's that simple.

For those of you who have treated me with respect even while disagreeing, thank you for being civil.

I've been waiting to hear a response from you in regards to all of this, and I am really surprised (and disappointed) by what you have to say.

Fawn’s replies to your statements regarding dowsing were extremely intelligent, coherent, and rational. It is truly condescending and patronizing to relegate them as “ad hominem attacks,” when they were based in very sound reasoning.

For the record, I am a Christian, but I do not hold other religions and practices as less valid, so long as they don’t preach hatred. Human population is ever increasing, but the earth isn’t getting any bigger. Tolerance and understanding are the key.

WOW!!! It has definately been awhile since I have been on this board and I guess I have something to say about it I personally believe that the pendulum has something to do with subconcious and earth energies in which I feel connected personally. The pendulum has worked for me and the reason I know this is because I have measurable growth - and I had someone else dowse me, coming up with the same regime as I and the same time frames... I am not sure that it is evil but I have read in the bible and in my researching that there are warnings about it. However we are all adults and able to make our own decisions to be accountable later to the entities in which we believe or ourselves or whatever Anyway some of us use this method and some do not... Let it be, let it be.... Peace friends!!!
