My arms are too fat for my body, it makes me look unproportionate. Like...I have the wrong arms or something. I mean, I don't look FREAKY or anything but I've asked my sister and my best friend their opinion about my arms.
Friend: "You have some extra fat but they aren't that bad. Your arms just aren't the "thin arms" they are more average"
Sister: "You have some extra fat on your arms, they should be thinner for your body, but they aren't horrible. I guess you just store fat there".
Oh yeah, once one of my guy friends was like "did you gain weight? Cause your arms look bigger". At the time I had recently gained weight as directed by my doctor to increase estrogen. I went from 110-117 lbs.
Me and my dad have the same body type. If I were a guy I would look like my dad for sure. I notice my dad kind of has the same type of arms as me. He can lose weight easy but gain it easy if he doesn't eat right or eats too much and I notice when he's been fat he stores fat in his arms a lot and now that he isn't fat he kind of has some extra arm fat.
I'm 5'4 120 lbs now, 19 years old. I've been called petite by people or thin. Besides my arms and a small belly pooch I have a thin body.
So...now I am obsessed. I think this is definately genetic! Is there any way I can defeat this? I used to do arm excersises/arobics (until things disrupted my workouts...I am going to start up soon) and my arms look somewhat better than before. I was wondering if skin brushing would help at all??
Do people skin brush to help with flabby upper arms? If so how do you do it? What direction?? If anyone here knows, please tell me Thanks

Hi, I haven't heard of skin brushing helping with losing actual fat (though I could be wrong, of course) but it is supposed to help tighten the skin up and give a smoother, firmer overall look, if that's what you mean by flabby. You can buy a natural bristle brush at most health stores. Try to brush in long, smooth strokes towards the heart. Here's a good link on the subject: healingtools.tripod.com/skinbrush.htmlToning exercises that call upon several muscle groups may help, like T-Tapp. Check out t-tapp.com for more info on that and skin brushing -- it's a great program that really helps people reshape and tone! Your weight sounds perfectly fine for your height so I would think working out would be enough to firm up key areas. I'm sure your arms look nice as they are, but T-Tapp is great for overall health, too. Good luck! Kate
