Tapp-ing is named after the Dr./Fitness Lady Teresa Tapp who devised some targeted work-out routines. Brushing is literally brushing. Istead of on hair, you do it (using a special brush) against your skin to help 'brush' out impurties and tighten it.

desperate, Check out this site for info on skin brushing: www.racingsmarter.com/skin_brushing.htmYou didn't ask but I think the overiding key to being successful with NBE or anything else is believing that it's possible. You can do it but you have to accept that it will take time. I'm also in NYC. Are you a personal trainer in one of the clubs in Manhattan?

One more thing-you asked about cellulite and skin brushing. It does help minimize it. I take herbs and find it absolutely necessary to keep the cellulite at bay. Brushing just prior to exercise works for me.

yup, i train in one of the sports clubs in nyc. are you a member somewhere? thanks for the brushing advice, i have to check out that website. i am not fat or cellulite laden but i'm sure like many of you ladies on the site i am over critical about every little detail of myself. as far as believing that it is possible, i have full faith that the dowsing method will work, it makes so much sense. i went to my friend's yoga studio today to look at medallions to use as a pendulum as well as to wear so as to put it's power into my energy field. different medallions help you with different things. i was hoping that the "radiance" one would be the one for me so i can become more radiant in situations and in my life, but that wasn't the one i got the strongest vibration from. the two that i am deciding between based on which one's energies i felt the most are "courage" and "wisdom." those apparently are the lessons i need to learn now. i don't want to rush into a decision b/c the medallions are $250 so it's not a small price to pay. but point being, i believe in that energy and i believe the one i choose will help me in my nbe quest. i know that you don't know me but if you have any suggestions as to which one you think i should get, i'm open to it! the medallions are perfectly circular and made of 100% silver and 18kt. gold and the different ones contain different ancient symbols and are blessed and over seen by a talisman. sorry for the rant!
do you dowse?? can you please tell me about your progress gigi. how long have you been at BE? i'd love to hear about your ups and down's and methods and so forth. what do you do in the city? how old are you?
thanks! ds

Hi Des, You can find my stats in routines. I've been working at NBE for over 4 years I think-I'm losing track of time. This is mostly trial and error so patience is a requirement. There's a tendency to do everything at once but this is one endeavor where you really must pace yourself. That's why dowsing works so well. I've been doing that for almost a year with a bit of success. I use lower dosages of most herbs and I am over 50 so progress will be slower for me than someone younger.

i don't want to rush into a decision b/c the medallions are $250 so it's not a small price to pay....... sorry for the rant! thanks! ds wow! $250. That's prolly deeper (channeling those energies for courage and wisdom) than you may be ready to deal with just yet. I would honestly say, keep it simple. Most everyone I've talked to and helped with dowsing, using their fav necklace or a really visually pretty bauble to them works best. I think we're inherently picking one which helps channel energies as we currently need them. And the rant..why! this is a forum. Talk away...thanks for the share!! It's true that some proper pendulums affect and store energies..which is why using non-crystal ones is best for beginners or some minerals (onyx, etc). Check out this pendulum site in a thread I started in the Alt Methods folder. There have been a couple of folks who have found great ones on Ebay...Dustash' and Jenele just to name a few. K, that's my two cents! Wen'

i don't have any jewlery that is perfectly round that has a significant meaning to me because my boyfriend always gives me bracelets! i really feel this medallion thing. i am going to go with courage i've decided. it is supposed to help one with self confidence and decisiveness and much more. i think that this is a good place to put my money. i need to add those qualities to my aura more. i think this medallion will become my favorite necklace. i'll check out the link as well though.
thanks

He, he..given the money you'll save from NBE experimentation...go for the medallion. Just for all others though, doesn't have to be round..just symmetrical.
