need help concerning periods

Hello,

before starting my NBE i want to figure out which is my first day of cycle. I have one starting with very very light spotting and after 4-5 days starts very heavy. So which one to consider as the first day. I the li´ght spotting then my periods last around 10 days and would be abnormal. Suppose it has smth to do with hormones but i lack the knowledge to work it out ut i guess it would be crucial for NBE.

Please, if anyone here would have a idea let me know.

It would be helpful to have a stats page. Anyone wanting to help needs to know age, #children if any, etc. etc., and any medications you may be taking.
