hi there! I've never done one but from what I understand, it's a good idea to do a liver cleanse while on a break. Then when you go back on the herbs your body will respond to them more quickly. I'm sure someone more experienced will give you proper instruction on the matter, but in the meantime, use the search engine, I know I've read old posts about doing a liver cleanse somewhere on here ... fm1

Estrogen is processed through liver. If the liver gets worn out or overloaded- the body doesn't process it properly which would lead to complications, the least of which is cancer. After 9 months of added estrogenic exposure (ESPECIALLY IF YOU DON'T KNOW IF YOUR INTERNALS ARE GOOD FOR YOU), it's just smart to do. FM1- you have the gist..thanks for posting, we can all help each other here to the best of our abilities. Wen'

Is it counterproductive to take milk thistle (to help the liver) with BE herbs?

Is it counterproductive to take milk thistle (to help the liver) with BE herbs? Not necessarily. Some people need it to help their liver stay on top of things. Most women with menses don't need it, it seems. Those extremely high in ratio for estrogen to progesterone should consider using MT a few days a month to stay on top of things. Wen'

Can I take the simple lemon juice and Epsom Salt while staying on the Fenugreek? If I have to break, when would be the least counterproductive time to do it? Do I need to plan to be near a toilet for a few days? What time of the month is best for MT?

Hi, Turmeric, one of the most powerful foods for maintaining a healthy liver, has been shown to actively protect the liver against toxic damage, and even regenerate damaged liver cells. Use a natural detox diet to remove toxins and poisons. Eat pure and natural foods. Walnuts also help oxygenate the blood. You can try.
