What are some sure tell symptoms of endometriosis? (if any at all)
Also, is it common to develop it from taking herbs? Or is that only from taking BO?
I have been looking up as many posts on this as possible but have not found anything conclusive.
Also, I read in previous posts that progesterone cream can help reduce the risk? Someone said that Fawnmarie preaches this? Can I have some more information on this?
Any imput at all would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, Joyce! The only sure-fire way to know you have endo ... is to actually undergo surgery. But I can tell you from personal experience the symptoms! Painful, painful ovulation and periods ... inconsistent periods ... intermittant spotting and heavy bleeding. Ultra-sound can reveal cysts on ovaries ... linked to endo. Most the women in my family have endo. So I believe that you can have a pre-disposition to it. I hope this helps!

Hey Horselady! I have pretty painful ovulation, but mostly I just get an upset stomach, and it goes away. Maybe I am just paranoid...is endo very serious? Can I get it from using herbs or only BO?

Thanks for the info! Is progesterone cream recommended for preventing endometriosis? or just treating its symptoms? I get bad mentrual cramps, could the progesterone cream help? Can it help boobs grow? Sorry for all the questions... This site has a plethora of information. You have already stated in another thread that you were search incompetent. It also would appear that you have no desire for any deductive reasoning (which I don't blame u). Thus, I would highly suggest that you get a book or two which is related to specifically NBE so that you can understand the basics because you can't search them out. There are 2 e-books..you don't even have to go to the store and you can read them online or print them out. www.flat2fab.com (NBE basics and trial and error info) www.realheathmethod.com (NBE basics, breast science, and how to do dowsing for NBE) Happy reading! Wen' Thanx

I believe the doctors don't know the answer to that question either. I was told by doctors progesterone does help and control the endo, and the only way to get rid of endo is having it surgically removed. and the way they can tell you have it is by having an internal ultra sound done.

Neither BO nor herbs "cause" endometriosis. Some women have a higher sensitivity to estrogen, and both of these substances add estrogen. The same side effect would happen to them if they were taking HRT or birth control pills.
BO does NOT cause endometriosis. I was prone to endo in my 20's, took BO for many months in my 30's and NEVER had any problem. And this rumor is starting to piss me off. People read half of a post, don't understand, or bother to read the whole thing.
And neither do herbs.
If you are estrogen-sensitive - ANY form of estrogenic substance can increase your chance of endometriosis - this includes drinking milk or eating meat from hormone-drugged animals.
One of the big hall-mark symptoms of endometriosis is painful intercourse. Many women have bad cramps during their periods, or get lumps in their breasts during their period, or have other uncomfortable symptoms of PMS or menstrual cramps. But endo specifically seems to make intercourse all month long painful or uncomfortable.
Endometriosis is an overgrowth of the uterine lining. It grows outside the uterus and can cause some havoc. Normally, endo can be cleaned up with a simple procedure called a laparoscopy - where they put a tube through your belly button, inflate your abdomen and then go in there and use laser instruments to fry the endo growth off your organs. The lining of the uterus is sensitive to estrogen and grows thicker in response to estrogen.
Ovarians cysts are related to the hormonal imbalance that leads to endo. They are not always hand in hand. Some women have just one or the other. I had both problems in my early 20's. Endometriosis often clears up is you get pregnant and have a baby.
Progesterone can relieve a lot of the symptoms of estrogen dominance.
If you are really concerned, you should look it up. However, unless you have a history of problems in that area, you shouldn't be too concerned.

hello. i had endo when i was 22 and went through laperscopic surgery,(laser removel), i got the endo back about two months after surgey and had gotten a prolapsed uterus (natrural hysterectomy) . i went to see a homeopathic and he found the endo is a virus and if you find the type of virus that it is then you could cure it. well i did so and now i am fine and have not had it for about three years now.
