I'd appreciate any thoughts or feelings any of you more knowledgable people have about the safety of BE for post-menopausal women. Also, is there any hope at all that it might work?
Because levels of all hormones are lower after menopause, and high levels of estrogen are needed for BE, wouldn't you have to take megadoses of lots of stuff to make BE work? Couldn't this increase cancer risk?
At this stage of life, good health and fitness should be more important than cosmetics, right? Right. Ha, ha!

Hiya Crypto. Thought I'd post here to you. Our post-menopausal group is not huge, but Gigi is doing well using the pendulum methods, and her bloating and NBE experience is better for it. Now..for Gigi to respond...

Hi, Wenonae. Thanks for replying. It's nice to see that people know I'm here! Mominator welcomed me too.
Um. I have some very basic questions. Like, what's the pendulum method? Is it part of a BE routine?

Is it part of a BE routine? crypto Hiya Crypto. There's a whole folder which has this 'Alternative Method' detailed. We first learned of it here on BEB from Charky, who detailed what she's been doing with it in regards to NBE after endo forced her to consider other alternatives. The pendulum method in short is a means for determing which NBE items will best work with your system for the fastet results. Have a browsing good time beboard.proboards23.com/index.cgi?board=popularHere's the routine post from Charky that started it all... beboard.proboards23.com/index.cgi?board=Routines&action=display&thread=1076643851

Hi Crypto and Wen, Yes I am using the pendulum and have been experiencing fullness more than measurable growth. Been at NBE for three years or more now and although I haven't had the success that some report I have been feeling much better as a result of using herbs. They helped relieve many of the symptoms of peri-menopause and beyond. It becomes painfully apparent when I take a break. A drawback for me has been cellulite but that's kept at bay with skin brushing and exercise. I also use progesterone cream daily. I was very sceptical when I first started NBE for the same reasons you are crypto. Consequently I make sure to have regular gynecological checkups, diagnostic tests and do self-breast exams. I encourage you to do the same.

Good advice, Gigi, about regular ob/gyn checkups, breast self exams, etc., and I have been doing that regularly. I just had my mammogram for this year. I told the radiologist I'm taking herbal supplements, and she said they shouldn't affect the mammogram; it's the artificial hormones they worry about. We'll see!
I've been using the SBS herbs for about 2 months, now, and I can't perceive any difference yet, except for maybe a little fullness, as other members have mentioned.

My mom had took this supplments during her menopausal period. She is quite skeptical as she would want to try out the pills if it is approved & sold in singapore but lucky i found it through the net. She seems to be more relief in her pain after taking it. Hope this product might be suitable for you. www.beautynationpl.com/en/index_en.asp?pageID=menopausal

Hi hunter, Some of the threads you are replying to are many years old - and it is unlikely those members are still around. rebecca
