I started the whole BE process on 6/21/06. I have noticed some fullness and my breasts seem rounder since I have started so I think it is working.
My current information is:
Age: 35 Weight: 130 Height: 5'8'' Cup Size: B Right Breast: 9 1/8 '' Left Breast: 9 1/4 '' 2 children/ did not BF
My rountine is:
1 Breast Success Pill (3X a day) (started 6/21/06) Fenugreek (610 mg 3X a day) (started 7/6/06) Flax Seed (1000 mg 2X a day) (started 7/6/06) EPO (1300 mg 2X a day) (started 7/6/06) Wild Yam (500 mg 2X a day) (started 7/8/06) Saw Palmetto (450 3X a day) (started 7/13/06)
I am also massaging morning and night with SKIFIRM. I have ordered Mirifem so I will be using that 2X a day once I receive it.
My breasts are sore for about 2 weeks out of the month. After I start my period I am no longer sore, but I have slight pains every other day. I'll keep you posted with my success. Hopefully I will have some. I would like to get up to a full C or D cup.

>>"My breasts are sore for about 2 weeks out of the month."
Which two weeks? The last two or the first two?

When I start my period I no longer have the extra fullness and soreness. This stage (Follicular) lasts during my period and one week after. I do have some slight pains during this phase about every other day or so. Then when I am in the middle of my cycle (2 weeks after my period started) then I begin to get very sore and full again. But I do not have the slight pains that I have during the Follicular phase. I hope that all made sense. Is that good? Should I be doing something different? Am I taking too many herbs, or not enough? Thanks for your help! I need it!

Hi Angelface, When I start my period I no longer have the extra fullness and soreness.
I would have to say that your dosages of the estrogenic herbs are two low. The idea is to have growing pains in the first half of the cycle. Second half is OK but must be ignored since it is likely 'Luteal Swelling" which tends to go away in the first week of the following cycle. Take a look at this graph of the menstrual cycle (When you get there, see the bottom half of the graph since it shows only estrogen and progesterone which is the focus when it comes to figuring this out) : sprojects.mmi.mcgill.ca/menstrualcycle/physiology.html (there are better graphs out there) Notice that the estrogen curve starts very low on day 1 and gets to its highest at around mid cycle. After that, it drops a bit and then goes back up then down at the end of the cycle. When I look at this I generalize it this way: (someday I will graph it out) Estrogen rises until midcycle. Estrogen drops off a little then maintains some level until the end of the cycle. Generalized even more: Estrogen is lower in the first half of the cycle than it is in the second half. It is also much higher, but only for a short period of time before ovulation day. Q: If you are feeling growing pains in weeks 3 and 4, while estrogen levels are basically up and stable compared to the first two weeks, then what would it take to create the same conditions in the first half? A: Raise estrogen so that it is just as high as the second half, but during the first half of the cycle. The way to raise estrogen, at least as far as estrogen receptors are concerned, is to raise the estrogenic herbs. i.e. Ramp up fenugreek during the first half of the cycle. >> "Then when I am in the middle of my cycle (2 weeks after my period started) then I begin to get very sore and full again. But I do not have the slight pains that I have during the Follicular phase."If you mean sore and full for the days leading up to mid cycle and then they rapidly drop off, then that makes the point. When your estrogen levels are up, those plus what phytoestrogens you are taking together give you the growing pains. Now, if you work backwards down the graph, from ovulation day back toward day 1, the estrogen levels go down as you move from day 14 backwards to day 1. So, in order to feel the same growing pains, you need to increase your dosage so as to feel the same growing pains earlier. It may be that you need to cycle up and down a bit for those first few weeks. Does this make sense? I think you should be up around 3000mg per day. You have some ramping up to do, but continue it starting on the next day one. Ramp fenugreek but do not exceed 3000mg (or so) per day. Multiple massages every day with something like fenugreek extract and aloe vera gel (and heat) is important also. Wahaika

Wow. Thanks for all that information. I will definately be ramping up my fenugreek. Would you suggest that I ramp up any of the rest of my herbs? Please let me know. My cycle is starting in about 4 days....

Yes, the rest could be ramped up, but you always start with fenugreek.

Ok I will ramp up my fenugreek first. Since I am on Breast Success (which has fenugreek in it) and my current fenugreek mg tablets are 610, that would mean that I would be taking 3097 mg of fenugreek. Is that ok?

Yep, those would be good levels for you. Be sure to massage herbs in twice per day.

Ok will do. I will post my progress and my new routine with the extra herbs as soon as I am done ramping up.
The only other question I have is should all my herbs be the same dose of mg? I currently have my Saw Palmetto and Wild Yam mg lower than the fenugreek?
Thanks so much for your help!

Not necessarily, but that is the target to shoot at as a maximum. You know that you have the right dosages when you start feeling growing pains in the first two weeks.
When you grow a little, the pains will go away because (in theory) your endocrine system has adapted and is supporting more tissue, therefore needing more estrogen. If the pains start to go away, after some growth, this is a signal to resume ramp up starting with fenugreek.
The determining factor of your dosage amounts are how you feel, not any predetermined amount - other than not to exceed maximum dosages in order to avoid stalling.

Ok here is an update... I started my period on 8/7/06 so I ramped up my herbs beginning with fenugreek. My current doses per day are as follows: 1 Breast Success pill (2X a day) (These pills currently have Fenugreek, Wild Yam & Saw Palmetto, plus many other herbs)Fenugreek (610 mg 4X a day) Flax Seed (1000 mg 2X a day) EPO (1300 mg 2X a day) Wild Yam (500 mg 4X a day) Saw Palmetto (450 mg 5X a day) Massage 2X per day When I began my journey of BE I started on 6/21/06. My breast measurement was 35 1/2 and underbust was 30. I am now 2 months into this and my breast measurement is 36 3/4 and underbust is 30. All I can say is that although I do not have pains in my breasts very often, I am still growing. My breasts are definately fuller & rounder. When I began I was wearing a B cup. I just went out this last weekend and bought myself a C cup. I'll keep you posted of my progress.

On the list of bra size calculators they are all different. That one said that I should be a 34AA and even 34 A were too small on me. Just goes to show you that you should get what fits RIGHT and not go by some calculator.

I'm not sure any of these calculators are right. They are all different. Anyway, I just go by what fits. I've always been a B cup and now I am fitting into a C cup. I'm just happy that I have grown. I hope I continue to grow!
