I tried to do a bit of BE several years back between child 2 and 3, but it was maybe 3 months tops and I didn't really see much change. I was taking a lot of fenugreek then and trying out different things. Now I am taking a stab at this once again.
I am currently doing simply: low carb eating/moderate exercise to try and trim my lower half
massaging twice a day with the concoction I made up containing: Red clover blossom, fennel, oregeno, and cayenne pepper (the staining agent, apparently) soaked in with aloe gel. But it did something weird to the aloe gel, removing the "gelness", so it is really runny now! I may add some oil of some sort. Any suggestions? Olive? EPO? (expensive I guess)
In response to the research done about the importance of IGF-I in BE, I am also taking GABA before bed to help raise HGH levels. (I am just 30 years old, so hopefully that is OK).
I also consider myself in the hypnosis category, because I believe that will be essential to my BE journey. I am not using tapes, I am just doing self-hypnosis. I had a lot of practice with this with my last pregnancy and childbirth, so I am fairly comfortable with the idea. We shall see if it works!
So to summarize, I am not popping any phyto-estrogen, there is just what is going onto my skin. I am upping my HGH, and having regular sessions of self-hypnosis to try and bind it all together and help ensure success.
I am a mother of 3, nursing each child for a year, currently 160 lbs and 5'7". I have always had a big ol' poochy lower abdomen with lots of subcutaneous fat with very small breasts for my frame. When pregnant/nursing, I am about a 36C. Now I am more like a 34B and somewhat "deflated". If I could just thin down the lower half and acheive the cup size of pregnancy/nursing (I was also heavier then--each time) I would be satisfied.
Oh, so I measure 32 underbust and anywhere between 37 1/2 to 38 over. (I think. Will update next time I measure.)
