Flaxseed Oil

I was just doing some reading up on flaxseed oil and understand that it should be cold pressed, needs to be refridgerated and if it is over six weeks old will become rancid. Is this also true of the capsules?

They probably have a longer shelf life than the bottle that you keep in the fridge. You should be able to find specifics with a google search.
