Hello all. My name is Elle and I'm new here. I've been looking around and your stories are making me feel really hopeful about NBE. Some background: I was a medium 34B when younger. Then I was pregnant and went to a 34C (hooray!!!), then nursing and a 34B again. Now, after two children, I am a small 32B. I really don't even fill those out and can NOT bring myself to try on an A size cup. I feel really deflated. I'm 34 years old now. Other symptoms with the return of my awful old Aunt flo after 3 years of nursing/being PG: cystic acne regular acne acne on my neck and back PMS painful periods painful ovulation (I used to have endometriosis) no memory totally depressed about my saggy body absolutely no libido, my poor husband I am a thin woman (5'8 1/2" and less than 120lbs) so I am afraid that my bbs just won't respond to help. Maybe Bovine Ovary? I am considering implants, but know that while I'd love them now, I don't want them when I'm 85. Besides, I have no money at all. I'm in the middle of trying to figure out how I am going to pay for my daughter's preschool next year. Sigh. So, I pledge to provide support for others on their quest to BE. Is there anyone out there who can help a sad and clueless woman get started? I'd be ever so grateful! Thanks in advance, L

Hi everyone. OK, a basic question:
What kind of body types respond best to herbal therapy versus BO NBE? I'm just not sure which one to go with.
Any idea on the best place to start? I've been doing a lot of reading here and there are a lot of different routines. I know I'll have to tweak mine once I get going, but can't decide between BO and Herbs. Any input?
Thanks!

Hi Elle- You can not assess a BE program by body type. With your endo history- I would NOT suggest BO. Right your health first. I'd say start with Saw Palmetto (help with ur acne probs) and USP progesterone cream during the luteal portion of your cycle to help with your painful ovulation. I would start with at least 3g's of SP daily then over 2months work your way up to 5g's. Wal-Mart used to have a great source for a reasonable amount of money. You can also consider making your own capsules using bulk herbs if you see things start to workin'. G'luck. Wen'

Thanks for the input, Wen. I'm a little confused, though. I thought that Progesterone would inhibit bb growth. BB growth really is my focus right now. I've got a vacation in October and need to tone up and look decent in a bikini. (New mantra: bbs must grow, bbs must grow!). So, I want to start on that right away.
I am now on my second period since all of the babies and am very happily surprised with the lack of pain! Ovulation pain is now significant (for 1 day) but PMS is MUCH better than before the pregnancies started. I have read that PG can make endo go away - I'm starting to think this has happened to me (luckily!). True, the acne is back - and I think worse than before. So, I do feel good about moving forward with makin the bbs, but do want to be safe.
So, thinking that the endo might have stopped, would you still suggest that I go the herbal route? I started a liver cleanse today and want to do that for one week before I start the NBE program. All I have purchased so far is Aloe vera, saw palmetto extract, and red clover extract to start the bb massage. Should I start with that now (during the liver cleanse)?
Should I look to making an herbal program to start with after the liver cleanse or can I go with BO? How do I add Progesterone into the program or is it sort of separate (just do it 3gs during luteal phase regardless of the NBE program I go with)?
Thanks SO MUCH for your help! L

Progesterone in general inhibits, but not if you're lacking in it ;-). Your symptoms say your body could use a bit of it. There are stories abound of women who used Depo-Provera (for example) which is a chemical progesterone birth control..and grew 2-3 cups of breasts. Fix health- then do BE. Yes, I'd start with herbs (again as I said above- I WOULD NOT DO BO for my first regimen if I were you). Yeah, you can start massage while on liver cleanse since not much reaches the blood stream. 3g's for SAW PALMETTO ONLY. Progesterone cream- do a search read up on it. You use just a dab..and for u, only during luteal. Wen'

Wen, Thanks so much for your help. I will start looking into herbs more and will research progesterone. One question - when you say 3g of SP ONLY - do you mean to do NBE with only SP? I've seen lots of routines and they all seem to include at least 4 or 5 herbs... I looked at your routine and am unfamiliar with dowsing. It seems very complicated and I'm not sure I have enough time to myself (have two kids under 2.5 years old) to get in touch with myself. I'm even wondering when I can manage massage! LOL Still, I will try to research it as well. Thanks again! L

..do you mean to do NBE with only SP? I've seen lots of routines and they all seem to include at least 4 or 5 herbs... [/size] Nope. Again, as said in posts #2, #4, and this one, you'll use the SP and progesterone to feel better first (right your health). Then I'd develop a BE regimen with the 4-5 herbs- not BO. Dowsing- I'd recommend muscle-testing vs. dowsing. It's faster, no spiritual aspect is needed, and you don't need a dowsing tool. There's a freebie eBook for muscle-testing on the EE site. Wen'

Thanks, Wen! I went looking for Saw Palmetto today (wasn't able to get to Walmart, only a health food store). I got confused. Do I buy the berries?
Also, I had zero faith in the "alternative" stuff. Tried the muscles test. Said "yes" to the fingers, they stayed together. Said "no" and they pulled apart. I got goose bumps! Unfortunatley, I guess I'm not so in touch with myself. I tried the "good food thing" and it said that tomatoes and oranges are not good for me. Huh? OK, well, maybe something in the Ph of those foods is off or something. I got "yes" on carrots and plain yogurt -- and "no" on Crunch-n-Munch and Coke. However, when I wrote those foods on paper, put each piece in my lap and tried the muscle test, I utterly failed. I did try this in several locations in the house.
Does this mean that I will not be able to use the muscle test for creating an NBE program?

I actually have a very similar ENDO history to yours, and did find that pregnancy cleared up a lot of the problems with PCOS & Endo.
You may do just fine on BO, actually (I did), but verify that the problems have cleared up first and put some more time between your self and childbirth. You said this is your second period since having your last baby? It may be too soon to start. When did you have your last child?
The endo clears up because of all the extra progesterone your body produces during pregnancy.
Are you still nursing? If so, you really shouldn't do anything yet - including the progesterone cream. That could dry up your milk supply.
If not, then I do think you should start on the progesterone cream. In fact, it should restore a lot of the firmness of pregnancy/nursing.

Fawn, Thanks for the reply! Actually, my son is 13 months old today. I stopped nursing around 9/10 months, it just took a while for me to get my period back. This is the second period and I have ovulated before both cycles, so I would call it two complete, successful cycles. I think I will try the progesterone to help with the acne, maybe, but honestly, I am stunned by this period. It has been so WONDERFUL! I can't believe how little PMS I'm getting. I'm almost wondering if even just Saw Palmetto would clear that up.
By the way, I made your simple boobie batter recipe and have been using it on my face (like your site suggested). I have only used it two nights now, but it does seem to be quite nice!
I am ready to try a program. After my liver dextox I will start with the SP. Would you still suggested cyclical progesterone? If so, I'll add that too and then start on the herbs.
I just read a post that the BO (used from BB) results didn't last at all after she stopped taking the product. This is discouraging. I'm wondering if I should try herbs instead?
