Hello everyone.
I'm 18, and I have very small, under-developed breasts. I am very self-conscious about my "cup" size (I can't even fill out 32 A bras), and I have been considering breast supplement pills. I've never understood why mostly all other girls my age (and younger!) are so much more developed than I am. I see 12 year olds wearing 36B bras. I'm 5'7'', 130 lbs, very athletic, and I eat healthy. I don't understand. My mother, my aunts, all my female cousins, are all mostly heavy in that area. It's like I've been skipped. Ever since puberty hit me at 11, I've always said "OK. They're not growing yet, but I've got time." Now I'm 18, and I'm afraid I will be stuck like this. Last year, I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, where my thyroid gland was over-active and produced too much hormone. I was told that the hyper-activity may have begun some time before the condition was diagnosed. I asked my doctor if that may have caused my development to slow down. She said there's a possibility, but it's unlikely. So I became even more confused. My mother tells me not to worry about it and that they will grow, but I'm starting to lose hope. It really bothers me, and I just don't get it. I can't even wear a swim suit without looking like I'm 10. My thyroid condition is under control now (I take medication for it), and my doctor told me that I could take breast supplement pills if I want to and they will not counteract with anything. I have never considered breast implants, and never will. But after researching various herbal breast supplement companies and determining which are the best and most effective, I'm interested in trying them. My mother doesn't believe they will work, but I still want to try.
I'd like to know if anyone can tell me if they work or not. If they work, how much growth should I expect, how long will it take, and which companies (for those who have used them) would you recommend?
I'm so desperate, and I'd appreciate any/all clear and informative advice.
