I'm on birth control, orthotricyclen-lo. I went on birth control in hopes that it would help with BE. I am wondering though, if progestin-based birth control is slowing the process down. I was growing rather rapidly before the pills. Has anyone experienced growth with birth control pills? What about with low-dose pills. Also, is there any method of birth control that is not progestin-based? I think I might be estrogen-deficit and I'm not sure if the pills I am on are helping or hurting. Please help! Thanx.

I don't know much about be, but I'm on orthotrycyclen-lo as well. I started out on Alesse and had bad side effects, but that was the first time I really got any growth at all (from AA to A or small B), and then went on regular orthotricyclen, but then my doctor switched me to orthotrycyclen-lo, and I don't like it at all. I don't think I'm getting anymore growth with it, I have mood swings and feel sick to my stomach several times a month. I went to the doctor and she said that there was no reason for the symptoms and sent me home. I was also wondering if anyone has any advice for a bc which might produce more growth/less symptoms since I can't get orthotricyclen anymore through my doctor.

Definitely those are marks of side effects from birth control. Seems that dr. just didn't want to take the time to find something else that works. Can you get the Ortho regular someonwhere else? Wen'

I use Yasmin to help me with my breast growth. But I also dowse, so I knew in specific that it would work to that end AND for birth control. Wen'

And I personally don't recommend using BC for breast growth, and barely tolerate it for contraception.
If your doctor ignored your uncomfortable side effects on the medication she prescribed to you, you need to find another doctor. She's obviously irresponsible.
