I thought for sure that I might find someone here with this problem but I don't seem to find any posts about uneven breast size.
I started using the Greenbush herbs a few months ago and to my surprise, I started to grow, but only on my left breast. I feel some of the same tingles and aches on my right side as I do on my left, but it just isn't growing, that I can see.
I've really never heard of this before, although my mom says she had this problem during puberty before finally evening out .
The folks at Greenbush seem to think this is no big deal. But, it is to me. I've had a horrible time this past month or two. I couldn't wear a bathing suit because I am very self conscious and just so aware of this problem. Anyway, they told me to stop taking the herbs orally and just massage the smaller breast. I've been doing that for about a month and a half and still no sign of growth. I don't think that there is anything physiologically wrong with me since that breast grew at least some during puberty, but what in the world is wrong with it now? Why does this happen and how can I fix it?
Can anyone help?

Actually there are several woman on the board who have complained about this problem. Most "famous"...NubianQueen's "Itty and Bitty" (although that could be on the MSN board). GB advice on massaging the "smaller" one is right on target...with BOOBIE BATTER (breast cream) I would personally continue with the herbs, and NOT massage the larger breast. Hope that helps! Bust of Luck, welcome to the board!

Thanks for your reply. Just to confirm...you would continue to take the herbs orally as well as massage the smaller breast only, right? I thought the same thing because in effect you are cutting off a huge amount of nutrition to that breast, but they said to stop taking them orally. Probably because I was so freaked out over the size difference.
Also, I am checking all of your posts, but I believe it was you who posted something about a gland problem. Involuted glands, or something to that effect. You said that progesterone helped to correct this. Can you tell me a little more about this? How would one know that they have this problem?
I have to tell you that I am amazed by this message board and the sheer volume of information that you all have on this topic. Quite honestly, I'm blown away by much of it, but I'm sure that in time it will all start to fall into place.
Just to give you a little background about myself, I'm 48 and have been very small--34 small, small B--all my life. Actually, I only got to that small B after my son was born. But..my breasts were at least even. My left was only the tiniest bit smaller than my right. Over the yeasrs I have tried many herbal solutions, but none of them worked at all. When I started on the Greenbush and saw this bit of growth on my left breast, I was absolutely thrilled. More than words can say. I just assumed that I would see the same growth on my right side as well, but that never happened. Left is growing and right is stuck.
Anyway, thank you so much. I so appreciate the information.

PROGESTERONE IS A VERY GOOD IDEA FOR YOU! Age is the common factor in involuted breast. Although, understand, that it is natural for the glands to involute, check Fawn's web site for more information regarding this, I believe there is some evidence that women who did experience involution, had a higher risk of breast cancer. There is also a lot of information regarding the use progesterone cream via "Dr. Lee", and it cutting the risk of breast cancer. However, for short term use, this board believes that progesterone cream is very useful. Understand that a "survey" done by Fawn, showed that women using progesterone cream, grew more slowly, but their breasts were firmer. So...what I am doing...I am 44, is 3 mos on herbs only, take a 3 mos break using progesterone cream, then alternate every 3 mos. Just a thought for you! And YUP! I would keep taking the supplements, & massage and heat the smaller one. Give it that boost with breast cream (boobie batter) on the smaller one.

.... I believe there is some evidence that women who did experience involution, had a higher risk of breast cancer. Actually, complete innvolution of the glands is the healthiest thing for them (after breast-feeding, this most commonly occurrs). It's the replication of mutated or partially involuted glands that's the cancer concern. This has higher chances of occurring for those who have kids after 30, and a host of other interesting things Fawn's summaraized... Would agree, progesterone is definitely needed to 're-grow' glands, however, when using it, herb use should be kept to a minimum as estrogen and progesterone generally counter effect one another.
