Hi Ladies, Has anybody here experienced serious anxiety or panic attacks since starting BE?
I started experiencing panic and anxiety about 2 1/2 years ago, but improved quite a bit in the past year. But about a week ago, my symptoms returned.
I began taking 600 mg of oregano oil two weeks ago, but I'm not sure if it's connected. Maybe I should drop my dosage.
I was thinking some progesterone cream might help if this is a hormonal thing ... but I am on the Pill. I read that progesterone cream doesn't really work with BE. Is that true?
Ideas, insights? Help please, cuz I am FREAKIN' OUT! Lucy

See what happens without oregano oil. I did fine on oregano crusehd herb...refrained from oil since EPO and Flax didn't help as much. Yes, different oils, but I became a little 'oily' conscious

Hey Lucille, Just a comment really...I also have had problems with panic attacks in the past...and really right before this xmas, things got pretty bad again...the one thing I have always thought when it comes to these is that no matter what kinda drugs my dr. has put me on...they only work so long. Are u taking anything for this? In my opinion, anxiety is like depression in a sense that for alot of us, they come and go at will. I have noticed a drop in the amt. of anxiety I have experienced over the last 2 months while on herbs...but no 2 are alike. I feel more relaxed....hmmm...if u are taking something like Paxil etc...then maybe tell your doc. and see about changing either the dosage or changing meds all together. If you are not on meds...well, then it would be up to u if u wanna try taking something for that reason...After trying so many different things...the only that really worked for me was xanax...but only during the day...and of course I was only on it briefly to regulate my brain if u will... Hope u get to feeling better... , Kelly

I don't really know what would suddenly cause panic attacks but I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I've also had a past with panic attacks and I know how much they suck. I would just go to a doctor and see what is up. Hope these panic attacks go away very soon!!

Hi Lucille, I used to get panic attacks/anxiety attacks when I was using birth control pills - it was a intolerence to the increased levels of estrogen in the pills. I would think that BE would probably have the same influence.
Take care,

Not to sound like a broken record...but you are mimicing puberty. Do you remember how you felt as a teen? At times awkward, at times giddy, at times FREAKED OUT for no aparent reason! Hormones are a funny thing...if it gets out of hand, try cutting back some mg's see if it helps. cha-ching....2 cents here.

Do you have any caffeine intake? If so, it's gotta go!
Anything caffeine related should disappear in a week.
You might take a 30 minute brisk walk every night. It will help you relax and you will get some light exercise in. The tapping ladies have the a good thing going. Maybe that's something to consider.

Just wondering if you are drinking diet sodas. Seems like I've been reading and hearing lots of people noticing panic attacks as a side effect of aspartame, popular sweetner of lots of diet sodas. Actually, it's in a lot of things. When they cut out that sweetner they noticed the panic attacks didn't come back. Might not be what's triggering yours, but it's a thought I wanted to share. Hope it gets better.

Fenugreek can cause sudden drops in blood sugar, resulting in hypoglycemic attacks, which are very similar to panic attacks.
