hi, i just started BE a little over a month ago, and think it is working somewhat, but have experienced some very difficult things. right now i am taking 4000 mg per day fenugreek, 3000 mg wild yam and the same amount saw palmetto (three times daily) in addition to la femme herbal pills for breast enhancement. i also consume 1-2 cups of the fenugreek tea which i make myself and massage with fenugreek mixture and heat every nite. i recently bought some fenugreek extract and had been taking 30 drops a day. since i have started this regime, i have not had a single nite of good sleep and always have dark circles under my eyes. in addition, i have noticed that i am really starting to loose my hair---this is what worries me the most!!! i don't want to loose all my hair!!! do you think i am taking too much fenugreek? i read somewhere that fenugreek can cause iron depletion and this in turn, can cause hair loss, so i have been trying to take iron supplements. is this possible? do you have any advice for me??? thanks so much!!!

You're doing waaaay too much in dosages to have just started. And then, to top it off, you may not be on the best herbs for your system if you're losing your hair. Hair loss is the supreme sign of estrogen overdose. Reduce your dosages immediately, and if you continue to lose hair, consider taking a break from all phyto-estrogens for a cycle.

Hi girls! I have been on NBE for about five months or something by now. I have noticed that I have lost more hair than ever before over the last couple of months. I have also gained weight (about 2kg), hopefully because of water retention... My breasts are still about the same size as they were five months ago (36A). I have been thinking about giving up on NBE lots of times but I still stick to my herbs hoping that something will happen to the size and shape of my breasts I have felt tingling and soreness from time to time. My left breast might even have been getting a little more round and full... Anyway, I have been ignoring the fact that my hair is getting a little thinner each day, I think, I loose a lot of hair. I have been on NBE for such a long time and I don't take large amounts of FG or any of the other herbs that I take (about 1,5-2mg/day). I just don't want to quit, not yet... On the other hand I don't want to become bold either I'm certainly oestrogen dominant as I also take Diane. I use the p method, and I have been listening to the answers that I have been getting from it. I shouldn't take a break from NBE right now if I want my breasts to change shape and size according to my p. What a dilemma!

thank you so much for the replies, girls. hey, i realized my dosages were way too high, but i must (sheepishly) admit that i have always been very insecure about the size of my breasts and when i heard about the herbal approach, i overdid it in my zeal. the hair loss and general horrible feeling has really freaked me tremendously though, and i have backed off of everything except for the la femme pills. i am considering starting up with the fenugreek massages every evening, but other than that i wish i knew the minimal dosage my body can handle of the other herbs. right now, though, i think i will try to learn to like myself for the way i am rather than loosing all that hair-----yikes, that was horrible!!! and btw, last nite i finally slept decently for the first time in many days.(has anyone else experienced this feeling of being totally unrested and sort of jittery?) well, this board is decidedly a godsend and i wish every one of you much success and no hair loss!!!!! thanks again.

Hi Glasskulan ask P about hairloss. Ask which herbs would be causing it. I rephrased my questions and seeing better results. And no hairloss. I had a lot of it last year but P also says I need the progesterone cream.

La Femme has been the bane of many an NBE-er as far as hormonally and negative side effects.
I'd drop the La Femme, too
