I started Herbal BE on 3/3/04 and after lots of reading, I have adjusted my routine a bit but I am still confused on if I am taking enough of everything. I am 32 yrs old, 5'6" at 119 lbs. I am a visionary body type, 23% body fat, excess androgens, estrogen deficient. I had 3 children in 4 years and breastfed each one- which made me go from a 34 full B to a 34 AA and flat and saggy to boot. I have a very high metabolism so I tend to eat small amounts throughout the day.
I started out just taking a combined herbal pill for 3 weeks and realized that it just wasnt enough to do anything. So after that I added to it with individual herbs and have just tweaked my routine again based on what I have read.
I am taking the following each morning and each nite before bed:
red clover 450 mg
combo pill 600 mg ( just for another month until the pills run out)
fennel 480 mg
wild yam 500 mg
saw palmetto 540 mg
fenugreek 610 mg
also doing fennel tea at bedtime and massaging 2x daily with lotion made of 1/4 creamy baby oil, 1/2 cup peppermint lotion, 4 droppers each saw palmetto, wild yam and fenugreek.
I have a weakness for chocolate but try to stay away from it- cant do the sugar free stuff, there is just no point. I have cut back from a pot of coffee daily to one cup each morning. I do not excercise, but I take care of my 3 kids ( ages 1,just 3 and 5) plus a 6 month old and 2 other 5 year olds ( yes I am crazy) so I am very active.
