Hi Seagull, I can empathize with your anger (despite that I've never been through the same situation as you...I am a fully genetic female) and that you feel prejudiced against due to the comments made. However, you do need to understand that Wahaika has always been on this board to help and many of the women on this board owe their success to his help and what he learned helping his wife with her routine. I don't think it should matter why his wife is not on the board herself... maybe she's shy, not interested in chatting (not all people are sociable) or maybe she doesn't speak english... who knows... but it really doesn't matter, because he is an invaluable part of this board. Please, if you need to make comments about the situation, don't use other people's BE-related message threads - there are still people trying to learn from this board... your comments interrupting the threads will make things more difficult... and I know you mean well enough to not purposefully make things difficult for people who are just trying to learn...
but you could use this thread if you have gripes... to vent your anger and say what you need to say...
I also think that we should get the other AWESOME members in on this discussion especially considering that Confused was an invited member. As well, I would like to see Pammy and Momi give their say since it is their board. If it isn't going to work as it has been, is their anything else that can be done... especially for those who are not comfortable with the transvestite group being their only choice...
Where is everyone anyhow?

I'm not sure what's happening with Momi & Pam, but I do sort of wish they'd find new moderators if they aren't going to be around.
I don't really like seagull's comments either and I don't like Wahaika preaching morality about people like confused. Gender dismorphia is biological and there are physiological differences in people that have it - that have nothing to do with morality, and that kind of irks me. But seagull's rude comments aren't helpful either and Wahaika hasn't really deserved their nastiness.
Confused has always behaved like a real lady on the board and doesn't deserve the abuse.
We really do need some regular moderation around here.
I think a separate section is a good idea, for dealing specifically with the issues that effect genetic males that won't confused newbies.
I personally don't find transgenders in the least offensive. Gender dismorphia is a medical condition, with a known presentation and a very predictable set of symptoms and physiological signs and symptoms. It would be similar to be offended by the presence of women with PCOS because they have too much testosterone. It isn't a matter of choice - it's a medical condition.
I will email pammy & momi and try to contact them about frequency of checking in or finding additional moderators.

Fawn, I maybe wrong but think Confused is a Guy, but besides point, you are are right he dose not deserve the treatment he got. Every member here is either an adult female or males, and should act like ones. I agree we need more moderators and a way to delete offensive and, rude postings. I not sure if more sections is the answer. It up to all members to decide what type forum they want. I think that most members want this forum a friendly place to exchange ideas,. The threads have been moved to GRIPES, you can see that on the board. And both have been locked. Please if you see anything else, let me know, I will be happy to address it. We do not delete any postings unless it is against the rules listed on the bottom of page. I am finding it rather ironic though.....it's "males" that are having the "pissing" matches.  And we natural born females are accused of being "bitchy" Sorry....I just find it funny! |

I've just read the comments from Wahaika and Seagull...
I have to say I was extremely offended by Wahaika's comments, much more so than Seagulls. How dare Wahaika criticise the presense of males on this board. If he honestly believes that men are the "downfall" of BE boards then perhaps he should practise what he preaches and LEAVE. I, personally, feel extremely creeped out by his description of the "many" BE boards he's participated in....Why on earth would any man, other than those who DESIRE to grow breasts, spend so much time on BE boards and forums???
This is a BE Board. There are no express rules saying only women are allowed, so why shouldn't men be allowed too? Wahaika's comments were extremely bold, biased and uncalled for. Anyone who makes extremely generalised statements like that should assume they ARE offensive, and it was extremely ignorant and arrogant of him to think that his statements would not cause offence. For someone who acts like such a professional, the comment that he made has definately made me doubt his integrity, and has made me feel skeptical about his role within this community. Once again, I'm completely baffled by why a man with no interest in breast growth would openly critisice males who ARE, AND remain a member of "so many" different BE boards...
*shivers* It really creeps me out.
This community seems to be working completely fine at the moment, with harmony between both genders. It breaks my heart that such a trusted member of this community would ever bring attention to this, and attempt to break this harmony.
As for seagull, I am also dissapointed by his comments, but I understand that anger can be hard to contain. I agree completely with twilightroses' comments.
I hope this whole thing blows over, and I do feel that apologies should be made, on both sides.
To Wahaika - Practise what you Preach.
And to seagull - there are more effective ways of dealing with your anger.
