Okay I was watching the FTV (fashion TV) and they were showing all models etc for lingeries and differeent photo shoots etc. (I do not remember the brand of lingeres), but the owner of the companies says
" We do not hire models with implants for our advertisement becaue our bras are designed for women who have real breasts and our bras do not fit properly to someone who have implants".
That was the most ridicolous statement i had heard!!!. And all their model were absoluetly gorgeous with perfect breasts. their was no way that they did not have implants!!!
How can the owner so blatantly tell lies!!!! Just irks me

Actually, it isn't a lie. Symetrical implants as well as horribly done breast implants don't have the same properties as actual breasts do. Case in point, if you have a naturally large breasted woman lay on her back and a woman who has implants of the same size lay on her back as well, you'll see that the naturally endowed woman's breasts lay somewhat flat(basically it just moves down somewhat to the sides)whereas most times implants will stay straight up. Granted, more surgeons are working on making sure it looks as natural as possible(the droopage as well as nipple placement stays the same)but you still have problems with having to fit fake boobs in lingerie. I mean its hard enough for most women who don't have implants to actually find proper fitting bras. Also, remember that most lingerie models are airbrushed beyond having pores anymore, so they may look perfect in the pictures, but i'm pretty sure there's all sorts of lopsided boobs, celluite, and all sorts of other things.

Just irks me Mans Mansi Recently about a few weeks ago one on one of the local radio shows in Budapest a station manger of one Hungary's major TV station was being interview, one of question he was ask explain some of the questionable content of some their top rate shows. The TV stations mangers answer was the following "T V stations and TV show live and die by the rating they get, so we will do anything and everything, no matter what even lie if that want takes to get great ratings." So that why they do it, as one my American friends would say you just heard straight from horse mouth. My best advice is turn the TV off and leave it off that what I do. Blue Dolphin |

Regarding airbrushing, Heidi Klum, a Victoria's Secret model who seems refreshingly intelligent, open and funny recently was quoted as saying, at the time of a recent shoot, she still had an extra 20 pounds of baby weight on her. She said it did not matter becasue the photos would be retouched to take the weight off! I need to walk around with my own personal retoucher!

Have you ever noticed that all Vctoria sesrect models would be wearing tight bras (wthout padding ones) and see through bras and see through lingeries, but you can never ever make out their nipples in those lingeries. they all have been air brushed!! actually the nipple gets digitally altered in photoshop type programs or they stick on nipple covers. Either way, lingerie models have a bunch of makeup on that seems to be applied on like a coat of paint.

There has been some really bad airbrushing/photoshopping in the latest Victoria's Secret catalogs. They are still beautiful women. I don't know why the company has to go to such lengths to enhance their melons.

Its quite simple really as to why they focus so much on making the breasts look good. Its all marketing. Its basically saying "you buy our products and your breasts will look fabulous like our models!" although as much as we know that buying a VS bra won't make us Tyra Banks or anything, we still buy into it.

(((SNORK))) That reminds me of when I went fishing with friends, and one of the girls (who had really large saggy boobs) was hunched over in a bikini top fishing. She got burned pretty bad, and when she straightened up it looked like she had a cowboy hat on her belly!! |

In one side shot she'll have big, round breasts, and in another she will be flattened right out!!! There are only a few well endowed women modeling for VS who are consistantly large, no matter what they wear. |
