Ive checked around on this site a bit for info on clearing up acne.
people have posted that these may be helpful :
SP, nettle, topical vitamin A, zinc, RC and tea tree oil
i'm wondering which should be used internally and which topically?
and how would I create a cream for the topical? if i just put vitamin A on my skin from capsules would that be too greasy? lol
know of any other helpful things for acne?
thanks for any info

I know this much Saw Palmetto is helping me a TON!!! I was having major issues and since taking Saw Palmetto I have noticed a big difference. My acne dries up waaay faster. I also switched make up to an oil controling makeup which really helps. Seems like not 2 minutes after washing my face I was having oils seeping out of the pores on my nose, but when using this makeup and also taking Saw Palmetto I have a lot less oil production!

Hi kutelilkat,
I wear make up very rarely, but I've never heard of mineral makeup. I just did a quick search for it on google and found some. Anything that is natural and not synthetic and cosmetic is much more interesting to me. I guess you're in the US so you wouldn't know where to buy it in London. I'll do a big search. Is the make still as good as the cosmetic ones?

I get mine from this ebay seller: stores.ebay.com/Southern-Magnolia-Minerals(at the top u will see there are tabs to help choose your colors and a questions section) I checked her auction and its about $8.50 to ship to the UK I buy the 8pc tan kit for my caramel toned skin. (I compared it to a jar of the high priced BARE ESCENTUALS brand and it worked just as well for me) i put whatever acne medication on my skin that i like. then a moisterizer. I use concealer on any spots and under my eyes (i use a good cream kind but the link above also sales some) then i apply many layers of the mineral makeup using the brush they sell in the kit. Depending on how thick of a layer i need I lightly brush on between 3 and 10 layers. I dont use liquid makeup at all now ! my pores dont get cloged and i love how natural and light my face feels and looks. I have sensitive skin and most liquid makeups dont work well for me but mineral makeup is working out for me. if u order the seller will even include samples of different colors so u can mix them to get the perfect shade (if u ask them when u check out they will include samples u request at no extra charge) i have such dry skin and i was so suprised the minerals didnt make my skin look dryer! it stays on all day for me and keeps my skin looking matte without drying out. its not for everyone i guess but its worth a try i think. it takes a few days to get used to the new technique. but then its easy. if u put enough layers of the powder it will cover as well as liquid in my opinion.

an 8pc kit last me about 3 months and only cost around $24.00 (there are other sellers with different colors on ebay but be careful u dont get something weak and cheap) L'oreal and other major brands like cover girl (i think)now sell a type of mineral makeup. not sure how well it works but its even cheaper and u can get it at local stores. the best quality kind and the one that started it all is :http://www.bareminerals.com/ (u can find it on ebay as well) I thought i could just put a whole bunch of layers of regular powder on my face. but it is so NOT the same as the mineral makeup! the regular powder looks translusent and dry and doesnt cover well and looks like i have chalk all over my face. the mineral makeup is so nice on my skin. sorry for going on and on. I just really like this product and have the time to post about it

I have tried many creams for the treatment of my pimples but ultimately the best acne treatment for me;the treatment that did wonders was that of neem leaves. i know you will think that i am joking. i didn't believe this too when i first read about it. But then i thought that there is no harm in trying. You just need to grind it and place the paste on the pimples at night and gradually you will notice them disappearing. Try it out. I'm sure you won't regret it.
