Does anyone of any product that can lighten dark knees or scars? Or does anyone know of an home remedy that can do this?

There's loads of stuff regarding lightening scars here. You can do a search. I remember someone saying she had good experience with Strivectin. You can also use vitamin E externally and keep exfoliating.

If you're talking about just darker skin (not scars) which a lot of women get, especially women of color, try looking at porcelana (for liver spots) or skin bleaching creams. You can find skin bleaching creams at the drug & discount store with the products for women of color (hair straightners, hair & skin oils, etc.). Skin lightening creams are also popular with Asian women, so if your store has a section for Asian-centric beauty products, look there as well.
