Hi Wahaika, Saw your response on another thread re EPO/GLA's and bleeding. Do you think this could stretch to be a source of my excessive menstrual bleeding? This has got so bad that I am considering a surgical procedure (ablasive surgery) to put an end to it. My doctor has precribed a blood clotting tablet, but it barely helps. It just occurred to me that there could be a connection thanks rebecca

Rebecca,
How long have you have the bleeding problem with relation to menstruation? Does it coincide with taking EPO?
What do you mean by excessive? High volume? Thin viscosity? Many days of bleeding?
How would ablasive/ablative surgery correct this problem? Surgery looks like a total shot in the dark to me.
Wahaika

Its hard to say if it has correlated with taking EPO - it has got gradually worse since my second pregnancy. I have only a short period of about 3 days - but the first 2 days are a total nightmare - high volume bleeding. Having said that my GP is not overally concerned Several of my friends have had the ablative surgery to the uterine lining with amazing results. One has NO bleeding, one only a little spotting. I suppose logic says to give the EPO a miss and see what happens. Not having any growth anyway so might as well. I think I've probably gone as far as can with NBE anyway. Do like the EPO for my skin though. thanks rebecca
