I want to incorporate a protein shake into my diet, but I have no clue about which brand. I think I'm looking for a powdered formula that I mix myself as opposed to a ready to go can or something. Can anyone recommend one? Thanks!

Whey protein isolate is what you want. Less to break down in the body. Tasty brands- Isopure, Milk Blends, etc. Any that say just add water and will taste shake-like will have best taste. Try to get about 40-70g's/day of protein. Wen'

Myoplex is my BF's absolute fav..but they are rather pricey. I tried them and they do taste good. Do what your budget allows. Wen'

i used to take NOW whey protein isolate because it's 100% cross-flow microfiltered whey, not ion exchanged, isolate. the cost is relatively cheaper than most other brands too. the taste isn't so bad either. i buy mine at www.vitaglo.com for $35/5 pounds bucket.

Mmm, you know what's packed with protein and is very yummy? Instone's High protein pudding. It's a nice change from drinking stuff. Most of their products are for guys, as they are Sylvester Stallone's brand of supplements, but I just love this pudding You can get it at your local GNC
