Hey guys...not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here goes.
I haven't started an NBE routine yet, but I'm about to. I've been on the BC pill for about 7 years (with a 9 month break in between). I've been on 4 different kinds, and the most recent, Cilest, has been fine for me. Unfortunately, just this past Tuesday when I went to go start another pack, I realized that I didn't have any more with me (I just moved back to the States from the UK, where I stocked up on extra packs because the pill is free there...but I ended up packing the extra pills with my shipment of belongings that I haven't received yet. GRRRR!! My pills are probably floating across the Atlantic somewhere as we speak....<sigh>).
So I've got an appointment at Planned Parenthood (not a gyn, because I don't have insurance yet) on Wednesday. I've never been on the BC pill in the States, and was wondering if some of you who are on it could share your experiences. I've been to a couple BC pill message boards, and I have no idea what to choose. I know that all pills effect different women differently, but if there's a consensus about some of them, I'd love to hear it.
For example, I've read that Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo is GREAT for making your boobs bigger, but that a lot of women experience heavy breakthrough bleeding on it? And some people say that Yasmin is great, but others say it increases depression and anxiety.
I'm on the pill to prevent pregnancy, but not breaking out and increasing the size of my boobs would be a big plus! (The BC pill has never done this for me before, but you never know! lol). Also, I'm not too keen on breakthrough bleeding, obviously.
Ok, sorry to have rambled on - if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, or would like to share their BC pill experiences, I'd be very grateful!
