I have fairly sensitive skin, even though I am naturally fairly dark. (olive-y) SO I am used to getting rashes from nothing and dealing with them. However, the last two times I got my hair dyed, I developed this horrible rash on my hairline and my ears. (everywhere the color was put but not on the scalp) I have gotten my hair dyed before with the same product, and nothing has happened. Also, it was done professionally with Wella professional products. I know I was not cheated becuse my own aunt did it for me. Do you think maybe me being on tetracycline could have made my skin more sensitive which caused me to be more prone to a rash? I am planning to dye my hair soon and was wondering if I should wait to get on tetracycline after I dye my hair or if I can start taking it now.

I think your sensativity is definitely hormone related. Trying giving it a few days b4 u take ur pills, but really, I think it'd take at least a cycle being off estrogenic stuffs before the body starts to go back to 'normal'.
Good luck.

Hmmmm...you know, that would make sense except that I remember the first time I got my hair dyed and I got a rash I wasn't on any herbs but I was on tetracycline, and I didn't know about NBE yet... Its really weird...cause the time before that when I got my hair dyed, I wasn't on tertracycline or herbs and didn't break out in a rash, and thought the pill must be it cause it supposedly makes my skin sensitive.
I really want to start tetracycline again, but I think maybe I should wait until after I dye my hair?

Yeah, I'd wait. I think your body is in general estrogenic-source sensative.

Does tetracycline interfere with hormones?
